An African-American model has reportedly been fired from the agency representing her after she attended the Young Black Leadership Summit at the White House last week.

At the end of October hundreds of young Black people, including model Zoe Bethel  attended the Washington, D.C. conference, hosted by conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA. While the event was billed as a gathering of Black conservatives, it quickly started to resemble a Trump rally.

Videos from the summit show a large crowd of brown faces cheering and chanting “USA! USA! USA!” as Donald Trump entered the room.

Bethel was front and center in a lot of the footage, and when she posted photos of her standing next to people sporting red “Make America Great Again” hats, the beauty queen was let go by her modeling agency due to her political affiliations.

“The team has been talking about your political racist connections and we have decided to release you from your contract,” the email reads. “We are an agency based on love, acceptance and inclusiveness and your current public persona is not relative to our brand. Best of luck to you! Xx Ursula.”

Saturday, vocal Black conservative Candace Owens, who serves as the communications director for TPUSA, tweeted about the incident and accused the agency of “political bias” and discrimination.

“This is ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC,” Owens tweeted along with a screenshot the termination email and photos of her and Bethel. “A young woman who attended our #YBLS summit was released from her modeling contract when she got home for supporting @realDonaldTrump and this administration … I’m APPALLED at this circumstance.”

Owens recently launched a campaign encouraging a “Black exit” (or BLEXIT) from the Democratic Party in favor of the GOP, that was initially attributed to Kanye West.

“The stakes are so high for black Trump supporters— especially young ones. I implore all of my followers to please do what you can to support ,” she wrote to her followers. “Buy a hat, donate, or simply leave a message of love. We need you guys.”

She is also encouraging conservatives to speak up in Bethel’s defense.

“This girl is absolutely stunning and is clearly an intelligent free-thinker,” responded one woman. “Beauty and brains. I suspect she’ll be just fine. She’s a victor, not a victim. Regardless, there should be legal recourse against this ‘agency’ for discrimination.”
