Tia Mowry is helping families find fun despite the coronavirus crisis.
According to Deadline, the actress is developing a series described as a family-style clip show that highlights how families have adjusted to life under quarantine.
Tia Mowry’s Challenge Accepted will feature fun moments from Mowry’s own family and “showcase humorous moments that families have experienced during quarantine,” as well as weekly home challenges and viewer-submitted challenges. The series is produced by Kin and Jukin Media.
“When I first had the idea for the show, I knew working with Kin on it would be a perfect fit,” Mowry said in a statement. “I am excited to get to know and work with the team at Jukin as well.”

No word on whether or not the show will feature any cameos from Tia’s twin, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and her family. That could be fun considering Tamera may have some extra time on her hands after recently announcing her departure from her hosting gig on The Real.
“The show will provide all the fun, light-hearted moments that families are really seeking in their programming given the state of the world right now,” added Jukin Media founder/CEO Jonathan Skogmo.
Consider how hard the pandemic has hit families, this show sounds like a much-needed resource for parents looking to entertain their kids during quarantine. With so many families stressing over schools re-opening and searching for alternatives, every bit of advice is helpful.
