After reports said Meghan Markle wouldn’t have any bridesmaids, Kensington Palace has now announced there will be in fact 10!
It was a well-kept secret that kept everybody guessing but now we officially know that Prince Harry and Markle will have 10 bridesmaids and page boys who will take part in Saturday’s royal wedding, reports People.
It’s a relief knowing that Markle will be surrounded by people who are close to her after dealing with family drama from her dad and back-stabbing siblings.
Here is the wedding party:
Harry’s nephew and niece: Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Harry’s goddaughter: Florence van Cutsem. She’s the daughter of Alice van Cutsem and Major Nicholas van Cutsem.
Meghan’s goddaughters: Remi Litt and her sister Rylan. Daughters of Benita Litt, an LA-based bag designer, and Darren Litt.
Ivy Mulroney, the daughter of Markle’s friend Jessica Mulroney, a stylist who has been helping Meghan, and Benedict Mulroney, who is the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.
Twins Brian and John Mulroney, the brothers of Ivy and son of the Mulroneys.
Prince Harry’s goddaughter: Zalie Warren, 2, daughter of Zoe Warren and Jake Warren.
Jasper Dyer, 6, son of Harry’s old friend and mentor Mark Dyer and his wife Amanda.
Meghan Markle will not have a maid of honor.
“She has a very close-knit circle of friends and she didn’t want to choose one over another,” a palace spokesman said. “All have been actively involved in helping her prepare for the day and will be there in the days beforehand. She’s very happy to have their support.”
Harry’s best man will be his brother, Prince William.
The wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel. The service will start at 12 p.m. U.K. time, or 7 a.m. EST/4 a.m. PST, with a romantic carriage ride through the streets set to take place an hour after that.
