Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta star Mimi Faust and her girlfriend are now engaged.
On Sunday, Tamera “Ty” Young revealed on social media that she proposed to Faust and that it is something that she has been planning since last year.

Faust and the former WNBA player have been a couple since 2016.
This was Faust’s most serious relationship, after an initial love triangle between her, Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez, and her relationship with Nikko London. According to the storyline of the show, both of those relationships ended poorly for the Virginia native.
Faust, whose real name is Oluremi Fela James, is also known for her infamous sex tape with London, who was married to another woman, at the time. Released by Vivid Entertainment, it infamously showed Faust bracing herself with off a shower rod as the then couple had sex in a bathroom.
It was revealed that Faust used London to further her storyline on the reality show.
“Timing is everything. I’ve been trying to surprise her since August 2019,” Young captioned on her Instagram. “From ring complications with the ring designer and more; we’re finally HERE!”
Faust posted a picture with her engagement ring with “She said yes” written on Young’s hand.
The couple has kept their relationship off the television, opting for social media instead, BET reported.

“Every time someone gets on television with their relationship, it gets messed up,” Faust told VH1 in 2017. “If she does a cameo, it’ll be FaceTime or a phone call. But if we do it, I need to be sure it’s going to be a safe scene.”
As theGrio previously reported, the two stars were secretly dating, keeping their relationship from being pushed too far out into the public eye. Neither of them at the time would have publicly commented on their relationship status.
