The anniversary concerts brought out Blue Ivy, Destiny’s Child, Snoop Dog, and some of our favorite IT girls.
Jay-Z is still in his Reasonable Doubt anniversary era, traveling the country and reminding fans that he is one of the greatest rappers of all time. With news swarming about the possibility of him picking himself to perform at the 2027 Super Bowl, the hip-hop icon held two concerts at SoFi Stadium on the West Coast over the weekend.
The Super Bowl chatter is still speculation. The NFL and Roc Nation have not confirmed Jay-Z’s potential halftime performance.
While he didn’t bring out all the surprises we saw during his hometown run in New York City, Jay-Z didn’t disappoint. He brought surprise guests to the stage, dropped bars fans sang and rapped along to, and had celebrity fans and influencers in the stands. Both SoFi shows were reported as sold out.
One moment we never get tired of seeing is Blue Ivy Carter taking the stage. Dubbed the “unofficial Cowboy Carter Tour manager” by fans, Blue Ivy is showing how much of an artist and performer she is becoming.
Our internet niece took to the keys for “The Story of O.J.” from 4:44 and “Dead Presidents” from Reasonable Doubt. Her appearance was one of the standout moments of Friday’s show.
Other stage appearances included Scarface, John Legend and DJ Khaled on Friday. For the second night, Jay-Z brought out Too $hort, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, giving the L.A. crowd some iconic West Coast favorites.
And of course, anywhere Jay-Z is, is a chance for a Beyoncé sighting. This time was no different. Blogs were lit up with fan content and videos of Queen Bey alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The Destiny’s Child singers were in the stands, cheering and dancing as Blue Ivy performed.
Kelly wore an oversized charcoal-gray jacket with matching wide-leg pants, dark sunglasses, and chunky black shoes. Michelle wore a black leather jacket with matching pants and boots, paired with her long, voluminous curls.
Miracle Watts brought out her newlywed style as she rocked with the hip-hop icon. We love her indigo denim-on-denim Canadian tuxedo moment. The actress wore a fitted, dark-wash jacket with matching capri pants that showed off all of her curves. She paired the look with a Yankees cap, pointed merlot heels and a matching bag. Her boo, Tyler Lepley, was right by her side in a matching Yankees fitted.
Winnie Harlow is a die-hard Jay-Z and NYC fan. The supermodel is often spotted at high-profile New York City events, and she always serves the girls a look. This time, she played with plaid and denim. The runway model wore a lace-up vest, loose jeans and a brown cap. She added layers of gold jewelry, sparkling boots and a Chanel purse.
Jessie and D’Lila Combs give us sister-sister moments of style every time we see them. The twins coordinated in white crop tops, distressed wide-leg jeans, and oversized denim jackets. Layered necklaces and tan boots finished their matching concert outfits. Jayda Cheaves looked like an absolute doll while enjoying a girls’ night out with Hov through her partnership with D’USSÉ Cognac. She wore a fall-trending olive-green top with ivory, body-hugging, low-rise leather pants. Her pink, Barbie-like makeup brought the full glam with rosy blush, pink eye makeup, and a glossy lip.
Rihanna joined Jay-Z onstage during his Reasonable Doubt 30th anniversary concert at Yankee Stadium. This time, she was there as a fan at SoFi. The Bajan princess and fashion icon looked relaxed and cool-girl chic in a soft, olive-green plush zip-up pullover with dark bottoms, black shades, and a messy ponytail.
