Gucci Mane’s ex wants him locked up for failure to pay her legal fee

Sheena Evans, the mother of rapper Gucci Mane’s 11-year-old son is asking the Georgia courts to lock him up for failing to pay her legal fees as a result of a nasty custody battle.

Evans, mom to Keitheon who she shares with the rapper/reality star, wants her $2,495 that the courts ordered Mane to pay toward his baby mom’s lawyer, PEOPLE reports.

Evans filed a motion for complaint and a motion for sanctions in Georgia’s Superior Court of Fulton County, asking for the court to hold the rapper in contempt for his “outrageous and egregious” and “another willful disregard for this Court’s authority.”

“Not only has the Respondent demonstrated that he has no concern for the authority of this Court,” Evans’ attorney continues, “or for the deadlines set by this Court, Respondent has also exhibited an alarming disregard of the consequences of his contemptuous behavior. He could care less.”

Evans wants Mane put in jail until he “purges himself of his contempt.” She also alleged that he has refused to be forthcoming with documents that he was supposed to give to her lawyer as part of the resolution process in the child support case.

It’s understandable that Evans wants her piece of the pie given that Mane and his wife Keyshia Ka’oir reportedly scored a $1 million deal to air their 10-part wedding series: Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir: The Mane Event,  on BET a few years ago.

Evans asked for $20,000 a month in child support back in 2011 but was only awarded $2,026.49 per month.

At the time, Evans argued that Mane “has received a significant increase in income” from a thriving career.

In 2017, Mane wrote about his son in his autobiography: “I know what you’re thinking. What son? Truth is I didn’t know him all that well either. I’d only learned I had a child a year before. He was already 10 months old,” he said. “A girl I used to see had a baby and people were saying it looked like me. I hadn’t even known she was pregnant. I reached out and asked her if it was mine. She was unsure. I took a blood test and sure enough, I was the father of the little boy.”
