Frank Ocean has reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Travis Scott, demanding that his vocals on a song on Scott’s new hit album “Astroworld” be removed.

Ocean objected to the way his vocals on the song “Carousel” were altered with Auto-Tune processing and quarreled with Scott about editing them out well before the album was released in August, according to a report in TMZ. Ocean directed his lawyers to fire off the cease and desist demand after his requests were ignored, the site says.

As for Scott, the report says he “hasn’t flinched” and has “zero plans to remove Frank from the track.”

“Astroworld” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and “Carousel” peaked at No. 24 on the Hot 100. Critics have hailed the record, especially “Carousel,” with Spin saying Ocean’s contribution “feels as essential as the perfect bite of Coney Island cotton candy.”

Representatives for Ocean and Scott did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s requests for comment.

People on Twitter, however, had plenty to say about the beef:
