Motown Zumba Classes

Let’s get moving with Zumba classes led by Rae Chevy on the Rocket Plaza at Motown Museum. Open to all ages, we’ll hit the floor and dance to Motown favorites for an afternoon of fun in the sun! Come learn a new routine or two!
Motown MIC Showcase
Saturday, September 17 | 5-7pm
Join us in celebrating poets and spoken word artists at the Motown MIC Showcase. Past participants of Motown MIC: The Spoken Word will gather and perform for you. Joined by sounds from DJ Invisible and food truck fare from Topp Dogg and Vegan Nova, we’ll feed our soul with beautiful words and the music of Motown on the Rocket Plaza. Bring your lawn chair!
CCCoM presents Cars, Coffee & The Motown Sound
Saturday, September 24 | 9am-1pm
Calling all Corvette lovers! You’re invited to a very special Cars & Coffee Detroit event by the Competition Corvette Club of Michigan. Join us on the Motown Museum Campus where over 60 cars will be on display. Car lovers can enjoy a cup of coffee while connecting over cars and Motown conversations!

Let’s get active with a day of Zumba classes led by Rae Chevy on the Rocket Plaza at Motown Museum. We’ll hit the plaza and dance to Motown’s classics by favorites such as The Supremes, Temptations and more for an afternoon of movement in the sun!
Trivia & Game Day
Saturday, October 8 | 12-4pm
Get ready to compete! Come out to play jumbo Jenga, oversized board games, cornhole and more. The day will also include a few rounds of Trivia with special prizes for our top three winners! Bring your friends and family to compete in a Motown History Scavenger Hunt complete with food and Motown sounds.
Marketplace at Motown
Saturday, October 15 | 12-4pm
Community is everything at Motown’s first Marketplace! You’ll enjoy food, music, community and more with a day of connecting as we build communal wealth. Come shop with your favorite local brands and creatives right here on the Rocket Plaza!
Madonna University Dance Team
Saturday, October 22 | 12-4pm
Join us on the Rocket Plaza at Motown Museum and enjoy performances to classic Motown hits from the Madonna University Dance Team. With several performances throughout the day, there will also be a chance for you to learn a group dance led by the dancers, and of course a few hustle breaks by our DJ! Bring your dancing shoes!
