First Lady Melania Trump is not worried about her husband’s alleged affairs.

In a taped interview with ABC News released today, Trump said she has “much more important things” to focus on than her husband’s marital indiscretions.

“It is not concern and focus of mine. I’m a mother and a first lady, and I have much more important things to think about and to do. I know people like to speculate and media like to speculate about our marriage,” Trump told ABC News.

Has she been hurt by the claims? “It’s not always pleasant, of course, but I know what is right and what is wrong and what is true or not true,” Trump said in the interview.

When ABC News asked the First Lady if she and President Donald Trump have a good marriage and if she loves him, she replied: “Yes, we are fine.”

“It’s what media speculate, and it’s gossip. It’s not always correct stuff,” she added.

Prior to the ABC News interview, Ms. Trump had never publicly addressed her husband’s alleged infidelities and whether there were frictions in their 13-year marriage.

The allegations stem from reports that the President’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, paid $130,000 in hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of his 2016 election. Daniels later went on record in March sharing intimate details of her 2006 alleged affair with Donald Trump in a CBS “60 Minutes” interview. A second woman, former playboy model Karen McDougal, also came forward with allegations that she and Donald Trump had a 10-month long affair a decade ago, according to CNN.

Donald Trump has denied both affairs, although he has admitted to reimbursing Cohen the $130,000 used to pay off Daniels.

This summer, the President’s personal lawyer and former mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani said at a conference in Israel that Melania Trump does not believe her husband had an affair with Daniels.

“She believes her husband, and she knows it’s untrue,” Giuliani said.

The First Lady’s communications director snapped back at Giuliani, telling CNN in a statement, “I don’t believe Mrs. Trump has ever discussed her thoughts on anything with Mr. Giuliani.”

During the ABC interview, Ms. Trump said she never talked to Giuliani and doesn’t know why he said what he said. “I don’t know. You need to ask him,” she replied.
