Cardi B can’t catch a break this week. The rapper and her fiancee, Offset are being sued by the autograph seeker who was reportedly beaten up by the couple’s entourage after a Met Gala after party.
Footage of the altercation outside of NYC’s The Mark Hotel surfaced in the days following the annual fashion event. The video obtained by TMZ below captures the ordeal that went down around 2 a.m. on May 4.
Arnold says Offset threatened him using racial slurs. “Shut up, bro, before a n**** beat you out here,” the rapper says.
In the video, Arnold can be heard taunting Offset. “I’ll take all of your money, bro. Please beat me up. Be a fool, man…do something with your money instead of buying jewelry.”
A few seconds later, a man who seems to be a member of the couple’s entourage swings on Arnold and is then joined by two other men who hit and kick him while he’s on the ground.
Arnold sought medical treatment at a local hospital after the incident and says he suffered injuries to his back, neck, and face.
No word on how much money he’s looking for but we’re sure he’s coming for some major coins.
It has been a rough week for Cardi B after a social media war broke out between her and Azealia Banks. She also issued an apology to fans who were offended by her recent collaboration with Rita Ora for her track, “Girls,” which caused quite the controversy and prompted some LGBT fans to accuse the performers of exploitation.
“Listen to “GIRLS” by Rita Ora ft me @BebeRexha @charli_xcx. We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song. I personally myself had experiences with other [women], shiieeett with a lot of [women]! I [thought] the song was a good song and i remember my experience,” she posted on Twitter in response to the song’s backlash.
