Taylor Swift is on a roll with breaking records and breaking the bank. She has just officially become the richest female musician in the world.
Today, Forbes updated their ‘Real Time Net Worth’ stats, revealing that singer-songwriter Taylor Swift (34) is now worth $1.6 billion. She surpassed beauty mogul and artist Rihanna (36), who previously had a $1.7 billion net worth, for the title of richest female musician. RiRi currently sits at $1.4 billion.

Swift’s catapult in net worth is much attributed to her sold-out 2023-2024 ‘The Eras Tour’, which Guinness World Records named the highest-grossing music tour ever! It holds the record as the first tour to rake in over $1B in revenue. She is set to finish the final leg of the tour beginning mid-October 2024.
Her wealth acquisition is unlike many billionaires whose portfolios are primarily made up of successful entrepreneurial investments and business ventures. Aside from her $125 million in real estate holdings (according to TMZ), she has reached billionaire status mainly from her music and live shows.
