HelloBeautiful held our inaugural NYFW party at the immersive NYC venue Lightbox. Stylistas, editors, and industry insiders gathered in the name of the semi-annual fashion celebration, which has style lovers galavanting through the streets of New York to attend one runway show at a time.

Our kickoff fete served as a prelude to the exciting NYFW season that garners the hottest celebrities, exclusive events, and unforgettable looks from our favorite designers. Because the week-long event encourages fashion lovers to spotlight their individual style unapologetically, HB’s party showcased lots of modish looks. From bold colors to spicy, structured statement pieces, the girlies (and guys) did not disappoint!

Lil Kim’s Fashionably Late Entrance At NYFW Gave Pure Queen Bee Energy
Hosted on three levels of the Lightbox, guests enjoyed savory small bites that floated through the rooms, as well as a photo booth on the lower level and Instagram-worthy backdrops scattered throughout the venue. With music by DJ Ty Alexander, attendees hit the dance floor with their drinks and two steps in tow.

Our NYFW gift bags were strategically curated to carry attendees through NYFW and beyond. The goal was to supply products that boost your skincare routine, get your hair together, and provide you with tantalizing scents. Each guest received a gift bag from our sponsors that included OLAY’s Cleansing Melts, Super Serum Night Repair, and Super Eye Serum; Dossier’s Out & Rose on Fire; Professional Hair Labs’ Ghostbond Glowup Adhesive; Crème of Nature’s Edge Control; and ConditionHER’s body cream.

The style and beauty was at an all-time high at HB’s NYFW Kickoff Party!
Our very own Shamika Sanders served vixen vibes in a chic black tuxedo dress and a rosy red lip.
Senior Editor Marsha B opted for a Boho chic look in wide-leg pants and a bandeau top. She posed alongside Boston-based style influencer Koko, who wore a vibrant checkered skirt by Kadiju.
iOne Digital’s VP of video, Tanya Hoffler-Moore, Social Media Manager of branded content, Genesis Flores, Associate Director of integrated marketing, Abigail Bazile, and Allison McGevna, Senior Vice President of Content also made a stylish appearance.
Celebrity hairstylist Talibah Stewart and our freelance journalist Joce Blake also made a stylish appearance at the NYFW soirée.
Our freelance journalist Keyaira Boone posed alongside publicist Russia Boles, with both women serving casually chic ensembles.
Style writer Tarrion J. showed off his toned legs in a black mini A-lined skirt, partnered with a black and white striped shirt.
MadameNoire’s Social Media Manager came through with a casual, sporty slay that we love!
HelloBeautiful’s Social Media Manager served fashion and drama in a black cut out gown.
Elle Magazine’s Digital Beauty Director, Danielle James, posed with Milk Makeup’s Senior Editorial Manager, Jihan Forbes, and HB’s Director of Sponsor & Affiliate Content, Cliché Wynter-Mayo.
Soil Vibes plant shop owner Jada Lowe was sitting pretty in a champagne-colored ensemble.
Guest Veronica Hilbring opted for a chic brown set that perfectly complimented her melanin.
Global Brand Public Relations Director Amanda Hynes posed alongside HB kickoff party attendee Syreta. Both ladies complimented each other, with Hynes wearing an oversized white top and lace bottom and Syreta wearing a strapless black dress with a sweetheart neckline.
