Megan Thee Stallion takes to Instagram Live to discuss the recent shooting incident where Tory Lanez was arrested and she was injured.

Initially, reports claimed Megan Thee Stallion was injured by stepping on glass as the police pulled their vehicle over. Since then, it has been confirmed by the rapper she was the victim of gun violence by someone intending to cause harm.

“I didn’t deserve to get shot,” the Houston rapper says, fighting back tears on the live broadcast. She reveals to viewers that she was shot in both feet, resulting in surgery to remove bullets.

“I was shot in both of my feet and I had to get surgery to get the sh– – , to get the bullets taken out, and it was super scary,” she says, detailing how the bullets missed bones and tendons.

The “Big Ol’ Freak” rapper expressed her disdain towards jokes regarding the traumatic experience.

“It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to go makeup stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot, I didn’t do sh*t.”

A portion of the live feed was captured by theGrio reporter DeMicia Inman and uploaded to social media.

As the investigation continues to unfold, the alleged gunman has remained relatively silent. The Canadian artist has been inactive on social media since before the altercation.

theGrio previously reported that on July 12, Lanez was arrested outside of a house party in the Hollywood Hills. Witnesses claimed people had been arguing inside an SUV before shots were fired in the air.

Megan previously uploaded an Instagram post clarifying rumors, denying her arrest.

Closing off the Instagram Live check-in, Megan Thee Stallion assured her hotties she is taking the time to heal.

“I just want y’all to know a b*tch is alive and well and strong as f— and ready to get back to my regular programming,” she says before going offline. The rapper then added a selfie to her grid feed with the caption “Unbreakable.”
