Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, Tyreek Hill is facing two accusations of alleged child abuse after Overland, Kan., police were called to his home Thursday evening.  Hill and his fiance have a 3-year-old son, who lives at the residence.

According to local CBS affiliate KCTV News 5, this is the second instance where police were called to Hill’s residence to investigate a report of child abuse.

On March 5, the Overland Park Police Department also responded to a call at Hill’s residence on a report of battery on a child where Hill’s name is written directly on the report. The investigation was closed three days later. Though Hill’s name is not listed on the recent report, law enforcement has decided to forward their investigation to the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office for further review.

Following this latest incident, the Chiefs released a statement regarding the pending investigation against Hill:

“The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill. We are in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities. We will have no further comment at this time.”

The star receiver has a disturbing record of domestic violence. In 2015, Hill pled guilty to assault after choking and punching his then-pregnant girlfriend in the face in 2014 while they were still in college. KCTV reported that a judge would defer his sentence for three years and give him an opportunity to have a clean slate. Hill’s record would later be expunged and the charges were dismissed. He and the woman involved are now engaged.

Despite these allegations, Hill is expected to become one of the highest paid wide receivers in the NFL. According to KCTV, if he signs his new Chiefs contract, he could be slated to make almost $100 million.
