June’s World of X Games programming kicks off by recapping the third X Games Norway – a perfect segue to summer sports. Fans will get a chance to view six never-before-seen BMX video parts in Real BMX 2018, and a look at the first stop of the Street League World Tour from London. World of X Games then travels to Boise, Idaho for the second Road to X: Boise Park Qualifier where 18 athletes will punch their tickets to X Games Minneapolis 2018. World of X Games also adds lineup of shows to ESPN2.

The World of X Games on ABC lineup is as follows:

Best of X Games Norway 2018

Airs:    6/2 at 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC

X Games returns to Norway for the third consecutive year, featuring competitions in Skateboard Street and Snowboard and Ski Big Air, all in the heart of Oslo. The Best of Norway show will provide fans a look back at the competitions and musical performances, kicking off on Norway’s national holiday: 17 May.

 

Real BMX 2018

Airs:    6/9 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

Following Real Street, the next installment in the Real Series will switch focus to BMX. Six BMX athletes premiered video parts on XGames.com/RealBMX, to be judged by a panel of industry experts for a cash prize award along with gold, silver and bronze medals for the top three athletes and filmers. This World of X Games episode will recap and announce this year’s winner. The athletes include: Kevin Peraza, Colin Varanyak, Brad Simms, Corey Martinez, Tom Dugan and Sean Ricany.

 

Blood Line – The Brian Deegan Story (re-air)

Airs:    6/9 at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC

The story of 14-time X Games medalist and one of the most influential figures in freestyle motocross. A founding member of the Metal Mulisha, Deegan was the first ever to do a 360 in competition. Deegan quickly rose to stardom and became a household name across the country, but once he began to feel the effects of past injuries the FMX icon returned to another kind of racing: rally and off-road. He is the most decorated freestyle motocross rider in X Games history.

 

Street League Skateboarding Stop #1

Airs:    6/16 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

The official recap for the first stop of the 2018 Street League Skateboarding World Tour held in London at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park May 26 and 27.

 

Road to X Games: Boise Park Qualifier 2018

Airs:    6/23 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

As part of the Road to X Games content series, X Games will host the world’s top athletes in a Park Qualifier event on June 16 as they compete to secure their invitation to X Games Minneapolis. Held at Rhodes Skatepark in Boise, Idaho, the Road to X Park Qualifier will feature four disciplines — Men’s Skateboard Park, Women’s Skateboard Park, BMX Park and Harley-Davidson Hooligan Racing. The top six athletes in Men’s Skateboard Park and BMX Park, top four in Women’s Skateboard Park and portion of the Harley-Davidson Hooligan Racing will earn an invite to X Games Minneapolis.

 

Real Street 2018 (Re-Air)

Airs:    6/30 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC

Real Street features seven never-before-seen skateboard video parts from on XGames.com. The World of X Games episode will feature all seven video parts, behind-the-scenes footage and athlete interviews from athletes Samarria Brevard, Chris Cole, Trevor Colden, Chris Joslin, Ryan Lay, Cole Wilson and Bobby Worrest. The videos are judged by a panel of industry experts, with their selections for which athlete/filmer teams will be awarded X Games gold, silver and bronze medals announced on the ABC broadcast.
