Social media influencer and reality TV personality Nikki Hall is getting ready to say “I Do” to Jersey Shore alum Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio. The longtime couple got engaged during Pauly D’s high-energy poolside set at the swanky OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Sept. 27. The surprise proposal left Hall speechless and in tears, as captured in a video Pauly D shared on Instagram.

Jersey Shore fans may remember Hall from several episodes of the hit MTV franchise, particularly Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. But before the couple was preparing to walk down the aisle, their relationship began on another MTV reality series.
Here’s a look at Nikki Hall and Pauly D’s journey from reality-TV romance to future husband and wife.
The sweet lovebirds first met in 2019 while filming MTV’s Double Shot at Love. Hall immediately caught Pauly D’s attention, introducing herself as a Jamaican girl living in Los Angeles and their relationship flourished quickly despite there being other ladies vying for the DJ’s attention.
Their relationship hit a rough patch, with the pair eventually splitting, but Hall returned for Season 2 in 2020, hoping to give love a second chance — and it worked out. During the season’s reunion, the couple surprised viewers by revealing that they were dating. Spending time during the COVID-19 lockdown brought them closer together.
“Now we get to spend real time with each other, getting to know each other on a different type of level altogether and if you can live with someone, that’s most of the battle right there,” Pauly D told fans during the show’s virtual reunion, according to People.
“It just kind of happened,” Hall added.
Hall has also built a career of her own outside of her relationship with the famous DJ. She is an influencer who works closely with Dulcedo, a culture-first talent management agency focused on elevating talent through brand partnerships, creative growth, and global influence.
In September 2022, launched her own swimwear line, Bair Bikini, inspired by her homeland of Jamaica and that celebrates size inclusivity.
“It was such an impeccable experience, growing up in Jamaica. The women there exude, beauty, passion, and confidence,” she explained of the vision behind Bair Bikini on the company’s website. “I remember every event to be a massive celebration, and for every occasion you HAD to dress the part! Styling each outfit with the boldest accessories, and the vibrant colors mating each outfit together. I wanted to relate that memory to my brand, because it was more about the art, and thought that went into styling and creating a look and more so how each person appeared so uber confident from wearing each look.”
Hall has also developed a close relationship with Pauly D’s daughter, Amabella, whom he welcomed during a previous relationship with ex, Amanda Markert.
At the premiere of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 6 in August 2023, Pauly D revealed to People that he had officially introduced the two, calling the moment a big “milestone.”
“Yeah and they love each other, so I’m happy,’ he added. “It was great. They were both nervous, which is so funny, but I told them they have nothing to be nervous about,” he said. “And I told Nikki, I was like, ‘She’s just a mini-me.’ And I told Amabella the same thing, ‘Nikki’s great.’ And now they FaceTime every five minutes.”
Nikki Hall and Pauly D are looking forward to spending their lives together. Following the engagement, Hall and Pauly took to Instagram on Sept. 28 to share the exciting news with their followers.
In a joint statement, the couple wrote:
“We’ve spent these years choosing each other, growing together, building a life we love, and never rushing a chapter just because the world was ready to read it.
No pressure. No timeline. Just ours — and God’s.
& as always, His timing was perfect.
The easiest YES I’ve ever said @djpaulyd 🤍💍.”
After years of growing together, Hall and Pauly D are now officially headed toward their next chapter — marriage.
