The Art Newspaper is looking for a Social Media Producer to join its editorial team based in London. In this new role, the Social Media Manager will work closely with the digital team to lead the development and expansion of The Art Newspaper's social media presence.
Key responsibilities
• Responsible for creating and publishing content across The Art Newspaper's core social media channels (Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn & TikTok)
• Work with the editorial and commercial teams to develop and implement a social media strategy with the aim of increasing brand awareness and audience engagement
• Create tailored video content based on The Art Newspaper's editorial output as well as live events such as major art fairs, exhibitions and biennials in collaboration with the editorial team
• Provide insights on the performance of social media posts and offering reports to management to inform future campaigns
• Occasional travel involved to attend art fairs and major art world events

Key skills and experience
• Experience of managing and setting schedules for professional social media accounts in the publishing industry
• Experience of producing engaging and impactful written copy, social media graphics and video/audio content
• Excellent writing skills with accurate grammar
• Proficiency in photography and video editing software
• Knowledge and understanding of the art world would be a bonus
