Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.
Today’s show: “We Are the Subject” is on view at Bruce Silverstein Gallery in New York through Saturday, August 29. The three-person exhibition presents nearly 40 photographs by Lisette Model, Diane Arbus, and Rosalind Fox Solomon, and its title draws its name from a quote by Model: “We are the subject, the object is the world around us.”
