Today, RIAA gold-selling Chicago rap virtuoso and Pivot Gang leader Saba and GRAMMY® Award-winning super-producer and the “Godfather of Chicago Hip-Hop” No ID release their powerhouse joint album, From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID via ARTium Recordings/Pivot Gang Records, LLC.
Earning early praise from Complex, Vulture, HipHopDX, Brooklyn Vegan, and more, From the Private Collection is indisputably one of the most anticipated releases of 2025. The union of these hip-hop heavyweights evolved from an initial mixtape to an expansive 15-song project, resulting in a record that will resonate with rap fans across generations.

For Saba and No ID, the process of making From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID was long, involved, and not always linear. Beginning life as a mixtape, it entailed mountains of demos, months of reconsideration, and even a hard reset. Yet when the time came to push the button, there was no hesitation. From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID is the sort of record rap fans across generations adore: technically dazzling but thematically dense, irresistibly kinetic even as it dives deep into Saba’s psyche. A year ago, the duo thought they were finished with the project, but Saba losing his uncle forced him to reevaluate. “He’s the person who made me fall in love with hip-hop,” Saba says. “It made me want to re-approach things; I had to have a lot of conversations with myself that I hadn’t had to have in a long time.”
From the buoyant opener “Every Painting Has A Price” to the playful “Breakdown,” “Woes of the World” and its elastic flow to the way “head.rap” effortlessly spins hair into a metaphor for the passage of time, the album is teeming with style and wit, and with No ID’s inimitable chops. The beat on “Big Picture” is the ideal underline to Saba’s extended photography motif, seeming to give each line the combination of naturalism and nostalgia that defines the best images. Or see the brief “Reciprocity Interlude,” a hypnotic enough beat to serve as the spine of most major albums.
The 19-year-old singer, songwriter and producer Nafeesisboujee returns with his insatiable new single “part time thing” today. Capturing the hearts of the young generation across the globe, Nafees’ music blends palpable introspection with vibrant, infectious melodies pulling from indie-pop, rap, electronic elements and beyond, solidifying his place as one of today’s most exciting young voices to arrive in music today – all while in college. With a cult following and over 120 million total global streams across his catalogue already under his belt, the young Bengali artist is paving his own way and filling a space in the larger pop arena that has long been missing through his multi-dimensional representation and as a true voice of a generation.
The track arrives hot on the heels of the colossal explosion of his hit song “Stephanie” which catapulted the young artist to global lengths, amassing 10M+ streams and 100M+ views in just a matter of weeks. Through his one-of-a-kid art and journey, Nafees redefines the new International Dream today. The Cape Town born and raised Nafees first wrote “Stephanie” ahead of ever stepping foot into the U.S. in 2023 and it was later the first song he ever released when he arrived in America for college, quickly becoming an instant hit halfway through his Freshman year of college as it found connection with millions of young people congregating and finding community on the internet. Nafees later joined forces with beloved Asian-American creator Erica Ha on a special online moment for “Stephanie,” revealing the true Stephanie.

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, to Bengali parents with Angolan roots, Nafees fell in love with music as a young kid soaking up the sounds of Michael Jackson and other pop greats. He quickly taught himself to write, record, mix, and master his own music on BandLab and he started releasing in middle school. Inspired by the DIY ethos and magnetism of the Odd Future era and early SoundCloud rap, he shaped his sound through a myriad of digital influences while navigating his identity as a Bengali-Muslim student growing up in an American high school in South Africa. Nafees discovered his voice amongst an internet generation that was shaped by creative pioneers like Steve Lacy, whose breakout album Gemini Rights was a major inspiration for the teen who became enamored with pop melodies and witty love songs. As Nafees moves through his new journey in America as a teen entering his 20s who is finding himself and navigating the world while also caring for his family back home, he takes listeners along for a ride through a new body of work that is wildly honest and thrilling in nature.
Nafees’ subsequent singles like “Spin U Round,” “Barbie & Ken,” and “Hailey” have made him a relatable voice for teens and college students navigating love, identity, and self-discovery. One of his latest singles, “Maddie,” co-produced by Curtis Waters, is a mature step forward, reflecting on the complicated relationships that have shaped him at just 19 years old.
Nafees has found belonging and creative nourishment with the buzzing POC-led artist community KOGO, who have cultivated and supported prolific originals like REHMA, CONNIE, Curtis Waters, KOAD, Asha Imuno, Alé Araya and others.
More to come from Nafees soon.
Today, teenage rap phenom Nettspend rings in his 18th birthday with “Impact,” a bleary-eyed victory lap of a single featuring his friend, collaborator, and current tour opener xaviersobased. Listen HERE, and get tickets to the INVERT TOUR HERE.
The new release follows Nettspend’s buzzing appearances at both Rolling Loud California and Paris Fashion Week. The polarizing Virginia star made his runway debut walking for Miu Miu, making headlines in GQ and The FADER and picking up additional coverage in The New York Times and HIGHSNOBIETY.

Over a grimy yet chiming jerk beat, the duo trade blurry verses detailing the perks and stressors of living life in the fast lane. Nettspend bursts in with his impressionistic best: “Built it from the floor, I took off the whole ceiling / Party in the building, party in the building / I almost there, so, you can have my children / Running up the stairs trying to make it to the feelin’.”
Meanwhile, Nettspend’s headlining INVERT TOUR continues in support of his buzzing debut mixtape, BAD ASS F*CKING KID. The news-making run has been lighting up mosh pits in major cities across North America and stirring up coverage, too. His New York stop inspired an i-D photoshoot of his feverishly devoted fans, complete with footage of the surging crowd. Complex highlighted an appearance by Pinkpantheress in L.A. and interviewed kids LIVE FROM THE PIT in NYC. And MTV vet John Norris spoke with the star backstage for Interview Magazine.

Ranked among “Gen-Z’s most promising class of musical innovators” (FADER) and “the vanguard of underground rap” (Rolling Stone), Nettspend has steadily been captivating fans across the internet with singles like October’s “F*CK SWAG” — which came with a Cole Bennett-directed video HERE — while serving up an endless stream of collabs with peers like OsamaSon and xaviersobased. BAD ASS F*CKING KID was an all-new set of distorted beats and woozy rap, featuring production by Kenny Beats, EvilGiane, OK, Reklus1ve, Bobby Raps, Carter, and more.
BAD ASS F*CKING KID led Pitchfork’s “Albums You Should Listen to Now,” which praised “his narcotized mumbles and ad-libs [set] to dizzy production.” Stereogum shouted out the Grimes-sampling “Skipping Class,” while others praised “Beach leak” with its Jersey club beat. And FADER reviewed, raving that, “Nettspend’s strongest traits are on clear display here: an ear for beats that can keep up with his manic flows, a melodic instinct that can suffuse even the most trite one-liners with moody pathos, and odd turns of phrase that poeticize boilerplate images and ideas […] He sounds tortured and ambitious and ecstatic and delirious all at once.”
As far as his fervent online following has confirmed, Nettspend’s first song hit SoundCloud in late 2022 — but he made his entrance the next year with the fittingly titled Kickdoor EP before landing “Shine N Peace” on No Bells “Best Internet Rap 2023” and The New York Times’ “Best Songs of 2023” roundups. The Times also placed Nettspend on their list of 7 Artists Shaping the Sound of 2024. Last year, his summer Let’s Create Art Tour inspired THE FACE to report that, “The 17-year-old, who looks like a fresh-faced Kurt Cobain, instigated massive mosh pits at his debut London show […] and had sweat-drenched fans mobbing the merch stall.” Vulture called his 2024 Rolling Loud California appearance “one of the most hyped sets of the weekend.” Catch Nettspend on the INVERT TOUR to see “Impact” hit live. Full itinerary below.

Coinciding with the album’s announcement, Real Bad Man and Willie the Kid are sharing the album’s lead single “Maxwell’s Peacoat Collection.”
“We began the project like a digital sound board, focusing on wherever the production led,” Willie says of the process of making this album with Real Bad Man. “I think where Adam and I agreed upon is that the standout records were all themes for the night, late night drive, after-hours dinners, shopping, private rooftop hotel suites, it’s a thinking album, a cruising album preferably enjoyed at night…midnight”

Midnight marks the early stages of a prolific run of collaborations for Real Bad Man, building off of the momentum he sparked last month with his first full-length album with ZelooperZ, Dear Psilocybin, which The FADER called “clear-eyed and focused in its own fantastical way”. Working as a duo with the dynamic lyricism of Willie the Kid after the psychedelic sounds of Dear Psilocybin, Real Bad Man returns to the essential underground beatmaking that he first emerged onto the scene with through his On High Alert series. His crackling, lo-fi production pairs perfectly with Willie’s gritty delivery, laying a foundation for the longtime lyrical stylist who has worked alongside some of the genre’s modern heroes including Nas, Lil Wayne, The Alchemist, Roc Marciano, Curren$y and more.
Real Bad Man is the production moniker of visual artist and designer Adam Jay Weissman. A designer and visual artist first, he made his foray into music through his On High Alert series of imaginative, multi-generational compilations, which have featured the likes of Roc Marciano, ROME STREETZ, Pink Siifu, Maxo and more. In the years since, he’s partnered with some of hip-hop’s most talented and adventurous artists on full-length projects, refining and shaping the trajectory of some of rap’s most exciting independent artists, and expanding the scope of his sound even further through new and unexpected collaborations in 2025.
Listen to “Maxwell’s Peacoat Collection” above, see below for more details on Midnight and stay tuned for more from Real Bad Man coming soon.

Detroit’s own DJ Holographic delivers her highly anticipated debut album, House In The Dark, out now on all streaming platforms. A bold statement of her sonic vision, the album lands via her newly launched label, Through The Veil,
House In The Dark taps into the core of the typically masculine concept of Afrofuturism that defined the foundation of Detroit techno but reimagines it in a femme, queer, and conscious way. The project draws from her deep-rooted relationship with astrology and shadow work—a therapeutic practice used to explore and heal repressed parts of the self. These transformative inner journeys serve as the creative bedrock for the album, which navigates themes of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.
Throughout its 12 tracks that span the different zodiac houses, House In The Dark is a sonic journey through glowing neon tunnels and smoky after-hours basements, where deep house grooves melt into electro-funk rhythms and synths shimmer like distant constellations. It’s music for late nights and lucid dreams, rooted in Detroit’s legacy but reaching for the cosmos.
Through healing practices like shadow work, astrology, and more, I’ve found a profound sense of arrival while writing House In The Dark. I’ve stepped into who I’ve always wanted to be as a creative and so much more.”  — DJ Holographic

Today, Goya Gumbani releases his debut studio album Warlord of the Weejuns via Ghostly International. The album, meticulously crafted by the London-based artist renowned for his distinctive style across both fashion and music, encapsulates the two dominating musical communities that Goya hails from: the rich hip-hop lineage of Brooklyn and his inventive multi-cultural generation of London jazz musicians. In both its title and spirit, Warlord of the Weejuns nods to Miles Davis, with Goya employing the same boundless ideology to his own work..
In celebration of the album, Goya is embarking on a run of tour dates with his band in the US, Europe, and the UK across March, April and May. Last week, he hosted a special album release event in London at The Standard, and will host another album release event in New York at MOCADA (Museum of Contemporary African Diasporic Art) tomorrow night. Goya’s tour will see him play shows on the West Coast, including supporting Shigeto in LA, and across Europe and the UK in April before wrapping the tour with a headline show in Paris in May.

Warlord of the Weejuns is also an ode to the lasting impact that Miles Davis had on Goya, whose fervor for music and his ubiquitous style was formative for him. Goya channels that ambition on this new album, recorded with lush, full-band arrangements that utilize his own voice as part of the instrumentation. With Goya and his sharp, effortlessly smooth delivery leading the way as the album’s tone-setting conductor, he brings in a bevy of musical minds to lay a spacious, radiant collection of musical vignettes that invoke the wordless expressions of jazz and the meditative rhythms of reggae. Threads of affirmation, self-worth, and Black heritage — manifesting knowledge and power from within — run throughout Warlord of the Weejuns. Goya arranged his singular vision with production from Joe Armon-Jones, Swarvy, Franky Bones, Dan Diggers, Alejandro Śanchez, Maxwell Owin, Omari Jazz, Les Lockheart, xZalente and Ghostly labelmate quickly, quickly.
Listen to Warlord of the Weejuns above, see below for all of Goya’s upcoming live dates and stay tuned for more from Goya Gumbani coming soon.
Unraveling an immersive vision without comparison, acclaimed Indian-American singer, songwriter, and genre-breaking artist Aaryan Shah presents his highly anticipated fifth full-length album, Do You See The Birds, Too?, out now via ADA Worldwide. Listen HERE.
Easily his most introspective and ambitious work yet—Aaryan’s fifth studio album “Do You See The Birds, Too?” is an exploration of a 24 year-old taking his struggle with bipolar disorder into his own hands. His catalog is rooted in cinema, and Birds is no exception. Drawing a parallel to Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Aaryan uses tracks like “Fission” and “Fusion” as thematic bookends, representing the crescendo of volatility felt across his first four albums, and the inevitable, hollow stillness that follows. A story of the world telling you you’re better, even when you can’t see it for yourself.

Across these eleven tracks, Aaryan stretches sonic boundaries with a fascinating sense of thematic cohesion. The sparse synths in “Interlinked” complement his ethereal and entrancing vocal transmissions accented by squeals of crows and seagulls —mixed to eerie perfection in Dolby Atmos. “Vantage Point” and “Vienna,” which Earmilk applauded as a “perfect example of his artistic evolution,” layer Aaryan’s evocative delivery over airy production punctuated by a pulsating electronic beat.
The album concludes with an epic crescendo on “Your Life Was Never Meant To Be A Punishment.” Doubling as a cathartic final exhale illuminated by a glimmer of hope and a bold refrain.
Now, audiences can fall into the embrace of Do You See The Birds, Too?
To celebrate the album release, this past week Aaryan hosted two listening events in partnership with Dolby Atmos to preview songs off Do You See The Birds, Too? in both NYC & LA. Fans and partners were able to immerse in a unique listening experience complete with visuals and a Q+A with Aaryan.
Today, John Splithoff, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and enigmatic musical collaborator has released his highly anticipated album Far From Here via Virgin Records. John released an official music video for the title track – watch HERE.
On the release of the new album John said: “Change is the main theme of this album. There’s been so much movement in my life the past few years that I often forget to take a step back and consider how much has changed. Working on this album at my home and in hotel rooms on tour across the world made me look at this music differently. The record is a lot like looking through an old photo album – reminding me of who I was, who I am, and gives me some inspiration for who I hope to be going forward.”
This week, American Songwriter, spoke exclusively to John about the new project and premiered the music video for “Kyoto Snow,” a ‘70s-inspired track Splithoff wrote following a trip to Japan with his wife. They discussed making music for the love of it and “not trying to really prove anything”, John’s comparison to artists from “Teddy Swims to John Mayer to Boz Scaggs” and the unique concept behind the album.
“Once I got the words ‘Far From Here,’ I just felt like there’s a concept in that,” Splithoff explained exclusively to American Songwriter. “Having gone through all this change with moving out here [to LA]… I could see how there was a concept in the making of place and time and how these places hold significant memories for me and inspiration.” John stated, adding, “A lot of the songs on this record just come from a place of searching for inner peace. I think there’s different chapters on this record and different colors. It kind of takes you to different places in 45 minutes. I hope it just brings peace to somebody.”

On Far From Here John has drawn on classic soul, pop, jazz, and R&B, showcasing one of the most soothing and soulful voices of his generation, with arrangements often focused on his voice and just piano/guitar, a sound he wanted to recreate after performing the tracks solo on tour. Mostly self produced by John, his voice and musical approach recalls the icons of music from Michael McDonald to Sade, as well as its more celebrated innovators like Benny Sings and Mk.Gee. On “Plateau” masterfully blends his virtuosic piano skills with a layered Western texture and longing lyrics and creates a uniquely timeless track. R&B-leaning track “Tangled” and atmospheric, funk-pop of “Magenta (Days Go By),” all showcase Splithoff’s eclectic yet cohesive new sound.
Up next John will head off on a 25 date headline tour kicking off on March 29th and make stops at New York’s Racket (April 11th), Nashville’s Exit/In (April 4th), DC’s Union Stage (April 8th), and LA’s Troubadour (May 3rd). Tickets on sale now, for more info visit: www.johnsplithoff.com/tour.
John was raised in a music-filled home in the suburbs of Chicago and developed a deep appreciation at an early age for the timeless sounds of Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, Earth, Wind & Fire, Fleetwood Mac, these cornerstone influences shaping his unique musical identity. He had piano lessons and received his first guitar at 13, teaching himself to play through obsessively exploring the music of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. The catalyst of his music career began in high school when he was passed over for a spot on the baseball team, and auditioned for a vocal group on a whim.
From there he started writing songs, performing in bands, leading eventually to a degree in Jazz Performance from the renowned Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. He moved to New York City after crafting a 5 track EP in Chicago, not so subtly entitled The Move. Playing his first gigs around the city he wrote and recorded a first crop of singles while teaching private lessons, performing at weddings, and singing commercial jingles. This led to the eventual release of his breakout single, “Sing to You”, which changed his life. The track amassed over 150 million streams, landed on key Spotify playlists, and led to John hearing his music played in public for the first time. He witnessed his music climb to the top of AC Radio, alongside landing international headliner spots and festivals.
Despite all his industry success John has remained an enigma and prevalent behind the scenes collaborator, preferring at times to support the musical efforts of offers, in sacrifice of his own.  He has performed with some of the great artists of our time, from Sting, George Benson, Ben Folds, and jazz trumpeter Chris Botti on the David Foster-produced single “Paris.”
He had to figure out what would come next. So John made a big decision—actually, a series of big decisions. He traveled around the country, playing his own headlining shows and opening for the likes of Andy Grammer, Gabrielle Aplin, Ben Rector, MAX, and performing at Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo in 2018, navigated Covid lockdown in NYC  before he eventually moved to Los Angeles a few months later in 2022. He has continued touring non-stop, bringing his soulful pop style to such high-profile shows including an opening slot for Teddy Swims in 2024.
And from all of this change, exploration, confusion, and excitement came a rush of inspiration, which became the backbone of John’s new album Far From Here.
Far From Here reflects on his dramatic life changes while told through vignettes capturing poignant personal memories. On “Far From Here” Splithoff examines his search for a new perspective with his New York to LA Move. “City Days” which features Chris Botti on trumpet, pays homage to his relationship with New York City at the various stages of his life. Tracks like “Glacier” symbolize relationships growing apart against the backdrop of Montana’s natural beauty, while “Oh Betty” tells a nostalgic story about the Buick Century he drove during his college days in Miami. “Same Page” recalls a transformative camping trip in Arizona that inspired his move west, and “Kyoto Snow” transports listeners to Japan, where he saw snowfall for the first time at a temple in Kyoto.
Far From Here also draws on his shifting family and friendship relationships which he holds so dear.  “A lot of these songs are associated with a time and place that hold a lot of meaning to me,” he says. “I also noticed, within all that change, how my relationships ebbed and flowed—I felt closer to people I didn’t know as well, and I felt distant from people who I considered my best friends and family. So it’s been an eye-opening path.”
Out of the turmoil and disruption, the uncertainty, the ups and downs of the last few years, John Splithoff emerged with a transformation in his attitude and his approach. With Far From Here, he is now perfectly poised to make his musical mark and his striking and evocative album is set to be one of the most celebrated of 2025.

Today, multi-platinum hip-hop artist Moneybagg Yo returns with his introspective new single “Close the Door.” Stream HERE via CMG/N-Less/Interscope Records.
With the new track, Bagg offers a personal glimpse at the heaviness and history behind his rise to stardom, rapping “I done ran through bout 2 or 3 million and I spent it all on drank. They told me go hard or go home, I switched the rules and went hard in the paint.”

The music video for “Close the Door” also made its broadcast premiere today on BET Jams, BET Hip Hop and on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

Bagg reminds us of the legacy he’s been building, especially on the heels of his 2024 album, SPEAK NOW and the deluxe follow-up, SPEAK NOW OR… (listen HERE). With over 29 tracks, he both leaned into his Memphis roots (with songs like the Three 6 Mafia-referencing “BUSSIN” featuring Rob49) and flexed his versatility via collabs like “WHISKEY WHISKEY” with Morgan Wallen and “DRUNK OFF U” with Chris Brown. Lil Durk, BossMan Dlow, GloRilla, YTB Fatt, and others stopped in, too. The set was Bagg’s fifth official album and 10th project to make the Billboard 200’s Top 20.

Over the past several years, Bagg has earned chart placements, critical love, and success in the streets with his inimitable delivery, emotional honesty, raw storytelling, and creative instincts. One of the most consistent doing it, he’s been dropping mixtapes since 2012, first becoming a regional legend-in-the-making before entering the global stage across a series of proper albums culminating in his 2021 blockbuster No. 1 debut, A Gangsta’s Pain, led by his triple-Platinum smash hits “Wockesha,” and “Time Today.” Ahead of SPEAK NOW, he shared the Hard to Love mixtape (with Future team-up “Keep It Low”) and lent his outsize talent to collective showcases like CMG’s star-studded Gangsta Art series and N-Less Entertainment’s We Connected.
After having a breakout year in 2024 with her hit mixtape City Cinderella, JT (Quality Control Music/Motown Records) returns with her brand-new song “Ran Out.” Directed by INDIANA420BITCH, who’s previously worked with Kim Kardashian and Playboi Carti, “Ran Out” ushers in JT’s new era, as she’s spotted alongside her group of girls, looking to wreak havoc. The song, anchored by its catchy hook and hard-hitting production, looks to be another runaway following the success of JT’s smoldering Hot 100 hit “OKAY.” “Bitch I’m getting money, I ain’t run out / my bitches shaking ass with their hands out. JT’s unflappable attitude and brash lyricism make “Ran Out” an absolute anthem for anyone looking to run the summer.
Premiering on NYLON this morning, “Ran Out” features social media star and influencer Quenlin Blackwell and welcomes back one of rap’s boldest and brightest solo stars, JT. Following the success of City Cinderella and its sold-out tour, JT has remained busy as one of rap’s boldest and brightest solo star.

Recently featured as a cover star for the relaunch of I-Ds Unknown Issue, JT owns her latest iteration of self and looks to continue to evolve. “I’m always going to be an It girl. I’ve been one before I was a rapper—all five mugshots,” she says in her newest interview. JT also continues to thrive in the fashion world, where she attended a private party thrown by icon fashion designer Rick Owens and his partner, Michele Lamy. Last month, the Miami star also performed at Cosmopolitan’s 2025 Love Ball, treating fans to “JT Coming” and “OKAY.” JT’s torrid run didn’t end there, as she and Doechii teamed up and rocked the stage to close out DSquared2’s Fall / Winter 2025 Runway Show in Italy, where they performed “Alter Ego.”

JT’s unrelenting work ethic has paid off this year, as many publications lauded the Miami superstar for her project City Cinderella. Essence glorified the project in their review, saying: “The City Cinderella soundscape is contemporary and nostalgic, blending classic Miami influences with modern forces,” while Billboard noted City Cinderella is an impressive manifesto for the next stage of JT’s career. Chart-wise, City Cinderella enjoyed a splashy debut, entering at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums and debuting at No. 5 on the Top R&B / Hip-Hop charts.
Today, chart-topping multiplatinum hip-hop legend and the most successful independent rapper of all time, Tech N9ne, looks back and leaps forward with his nostalgic new single and music video “RDV,” out now via Strange Music. Listen HERE. Watch the music video HERE.
The song’s slick keyboard loop and bouncy throwback beat nod to classic hip-hop as the MC lyrically strolls down memory lane. A powerful chant, “We came to fight,” sets the tone for the track. Tech recalls his childhood in the Kansas City neighborhood he grew up in as he proclaims, “I didn’t know back then I’d be affiliated with the motherfucking dogs.” However, “RDV” climaxes with his signature staccato flow bearing down on a classic machine gun sample as he rattles off the names of his friends.
Fittingly, it culminates with a personal declaration, “Aaron Yates, Tech N9ne, I’m a motherfucking ‘Rogue Dog Villain’!”

In the visual, Tech performs surrounded by many of those neighborhood cohorts. He’s all smiles as he charismatically raps to the camera, embodying the single’s spirit in the process.
“RDV” only hints at a whole lot more on the horizon from Tech this year.

With a stage-honed dancing ability and a god-given vocal talent, JayDon is one of R&B’s most promising young stars. Today, the 17-year-old prodigy announces his next career move, as he signs with mega, the new label founded by USHER and L.A. Reid, as a joint venture with gamma. A former child star himself, USHER’s co-sign is a major endorsement of the young artist’s talent, while L.A. Reid has a proven track record of discovering new R&B icons. JayDon is currently preparing his debut EP, Me, My Songs and I, to be released later this year via Zoo / mega / gamma.

“JayDon is a generational rarity and an entertainment phenomenon with musical brilliance evident from his earliest days,” says L.A. Reid. “We are thrilled to support his promising career as he begins this new chapter with us at mega.”
Along with the signing announcement, JayDon shares his new single “I’ll Be Good.” Produced by Sweata and written by JayDon, with co-writers Levens Jean and Vanessa Wood, “I’ll Be Good” is a midtempo R&B throwback, using a sample from USHER’s “How Do I Say,” flecked with Spanish guitar and rattling percussion, providing a perfect launching pad for JayDon’s vocal runs. Reminiscing about dishonest behavior in his past, JayDon promises to improve himself to save his relationship: “If I could only show you how much that I’ve tried/Maybe you’ll just let me restart, girl if you find it in your heart/Then I’ll be good,” he sings. The song reaches a new level in the bridge, with a key change that unleashes JayDon’s vocal acrobatics.
“I’ll Be Good” is JayDon’s third single, following “Ah! Ah!” ft. 310babii and “Lullaby” ft. Paradise. Released in Fall 2024, “Ah! Ah!” is an energetic West Coast party anthem, uniting JayDon with fellow talented L.A. teen 310babii, which has over 500,000 streams across platforms, including 300k on its YouTube video. On Valentine’s Day, JayDon treated his fans to a lovely “Lullaby,” teaming up with rising artist Paradise, GRAMMY-nominated producer Harv, and songwriter Felisha King, formerly of the R&B group Cherish (“Do It To It”), to deliver a love song for the modern era. All three singles will appear on Me, My Songs and I, the official start of a new phase in JayDon’s career.
Rising R&B star GIGI continues to captivate with “My Muse,” the latest single from her highly anticipated debut EP, Waves of it, arriving April 4th. Following the heartfelt vulnerability of “Fumbled Me” and the self-assured glow of “Diamonds Dancing,” GIGI now delivers a soulful, love-drenched ballad that explores the intoxicating feeling of being truly seen and cherished. Listen to “My Muse” HERE and watch the video via Marki Records/Warner Records.
With “My Muse,” GIGI leans into the tenderness of love, blending warm melodies and poetic lyricism to create a track that feels like floating in a daydream. Her signature rich, airy vocals glide effortlessly over the lush production, evoking the bliss of finding inspiration in another person.

“My Muse came from reflecting on the sweeter moments love has brought me… the kind of love that makes you feel safe and free,” GIGI shares. “It’s like having deep, starry eyes for someone… lol, and this song is the perfect soundtrack for that feeling.”
As GIGI prepares to release Waves of it on April 4 “My Muse” offers a softer, more romantic contrast to her previous singles. While “Fumbled Me” painted a picture of heartbreak and disappointment, and “Diamonds Dancing” was a confident anthem of self-worth, “My Muse” serves as a reminder of love’s gentler side; the kind that brings peace, joy, and unwavering inspiration.
With her ability to weave emotion into every note, and the support of major platforms such as Billboard, VIBE, BET, and more, GIGI is carving out a space for herself as a standout voice in contemporary R&B. “My Muse” is just a glimpse of what’s to come on Waves of it, a project that promises to be a soul-stirring journey through love, growth, and self-discovery.
Earning awards and nominations for her chart-topping behind-the-scenes work, Nija, Jersey’s finest, is ready to assume the spotlight for herself. Today, the Union, NJ-born multi-hyphenate shares “32nd Floor,” a sultry new single. Written by Nija and produced by Mike Hector (Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar) and eliasodt, the song recounts a romantic night in Las Vegas, as Nija and her bae escape from a watchful public by putting a privacy note on their door of her penthouse suite: “When we in the hotel lobby, all of them people ‘round me/Keep calm, but as soon as we go up, boy you know you got me/Keep it on the 32nd Floor,” she sings.
“32nd Floor” is a worthy follow-up to the Fall 2024 single “Unruly,” a confident, bass-heavy single that was the first taste of Nija’s new direction. The single earned praise from BillboardRated R&B, and BET, who said, “Now independent and carving her own path, ‘Unruly’ signals the start of an exciting new chapter in her career—one that brings her back to her roots while pushing boundaries in her sound.” Nija returned to her Jersey hometown for a special “From The Block” performance of “Unruly.” Both “32nd Floor” and “Unruly” will appear on Nija’s next project, the official follow-up to her 2022 debut album, Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You.
Writing smashes since her teenaged years, Nija has established herself as one of the most consistent hitmakers of her generation. She first garnered notice in 2017, when one of her songs earned a placement on EVERYTHING IS LOVE, by Jay-Z and Beyoncé as The Carters. Nija continued to work closely with Beyoncé in 2019, appearing on Bey’s The Lion King: The Gift album, writing on “Water” and appearing on “My Power.” Nija was instrumental in the career of Summer Walker, writing her breakout hit “Come Thru” ft. Usher, and scored her first number one hit in 2020 with “Rain On Me,” performed by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, and repeated the feat later that year with Ariana Grande’s “Positions.” It would be easier to list A-Listers with whom she hasn’t worked, as her list of collaborators includes Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Young Thug, WizKid, Kehlani, Maroon 5, H.E.R., Lil Durk, Calvin Harris, and many more. The 26-year-old talent built a huge audience on TIkTok, where she shares the secrets of songwriting with her 467k followers.
Now independent and ready to make her own wave, Nija aims to start a new chapter of her career at the place where it all started. Stay tuned for more from Jersey’s Finest.
In the weeks since his 2016 song Tell On Me” ft. Kevin Gates unexpectedly surged to viral prominence, Supa King Big Pope has been making the most of his second chance. Today, the Huntsville, AL veteran keeps the train rolling, calling up Texas diva Tay Money to contribute a new verse “Tell On Me 3.” Following up Supa King’s original verse and hook, Tay Money transforms the song into a dialogue, as she displays fierce loyalty to the select few lucky enough to give her what she needs and provides a definitive answer to the question in the viral hook: “If he beat that p**** I’m not gon’ let him leave/If he beat that p**** up, I’ll show his b*tch receipts!,” she spits. Tay Money’s remix follows “Tell On Me 2,” Supa King’s initial remix, which featured a fiery guest verse from Fredo Bang.
“Tell On Me” earned its improbable second wind earlier this year, after a series of TikTok trends spurred the song to #1 on the Billboard TikTok Top 50 chart earlier this year, where it stayed for two weeks. “Tell On Me” first started to percolate in early January, with a airplane-themed CapCut trend that allowed users to flex their creativity. The trend truly took off later in the month with a viral dance trend, in which creators on TikTok suggestively dance in bathrooms, or on doors, as Supa King poses a sincere question about the ethics of kissing and telling. The trend has since spread significantly, with celebrities like Steve LacyFinesse2TymesCoi Leray, and even pets attempting the trend. Red hot Chicago rapper Babychiefdoit recorded his own remix of the song, racking up over 500k views on YouTube. Even Kevin Gates himself has tapped in. This week, “Tell On Me” reached a new milestone, as it surpassed 2.5 billion short-form video views across platforms, with over 1.3 million video creations to date, and tens of thousands of streams per day. The song is still generating over 400k video creations per week, with tens of millions of views every day, behind a new camera-switching trend that picked up steam on TikTok earlier this month.
A fixture in Huntsville, Alabama–a city with a rich rap tradition–for more than two decades, Supa King Big Pope started his career in his teens as a member of Slowmotion Soundz, a collective best known for “Lacs & Prices,” a collaboration with a pre-fame T.I. After legal troubles repeatedly derailed his momentum over the years, Pope dedicated his life to providing for his family and uplifting his community, but he never stopped making music. When he learned from his nieces that his song was trending on TikTok, Supa King took the news as an unexpected blessing, and a long-delayed onramp for him back into the rap game.
Now as “Tell On Me” continues its improbable run, Supa King is ready to seize his moment. He knows he was put on this earth to rap, and after a carer full of setbacks, he is finally free to share his gift with the rest of the world.
Stay tuned for much more from Supa King Big Pope in the near future, including a performance at this weekend’s Boosie Bash in Baton Rouge (March 22nd).
Powered by a stunning year of early hits, rising country sensation Maddox Batson unveils his highly anticipated First Dance EP, available now via Prosper Entertainment / Warner Records. The multi-instrumental singer-songwriter continues to captivate audiences with his heartfelt storytelling and signature sound, building on a story which has already caught global attention. Listen to First Dance HERE
With millions of streams to his name, Batson first connected with fans through his viral hits like “Tears In The River” and “I Wanna Know,” showcasing raw talent and deep emotional resonance. His instinctive ability to blend classic country roots with a fresh, modern twist has made him one of the most exciting new voices in the genre today.

First Dance features seven tracks with the same youthful magnetism, including highlights like the single “Girl In Green.” Showcasing his stunning signature style, Batson paints a cinematic picture on the catchy chorus, “Tell me, have you seen the girl in green? Felt like a movie, yes it could’ve been a dream.” The music video for “Girl In Green” is set to premiere at 1:00 PM PT today – watch HERE
On “Problem,” soft spoken acoustic guitar fills the emotional gaps between slick snaps and buoyant beats. Dealing with the turbulence of a toxic relationship, Batson comes to an empowering realization on the unshakable refrain, “Baby, what you mad at me for? Maybe you’re the problem.” He shares a perceptive fusion of spirit and soul on the moving “God Talkin’,” and then, there’s the romantic clarity of “It Was You.” Loose acoustic guitar underlines his emotionally charged hook, “The one thing I’ve been missing, it was you.” Full track listing below.
Setting the stage for First Dance, Batson’s new EP arrives after the standout “I Don’t Like You Anymore.” The latter has over 1 million Spotify streams and nearly 3 million YouTube views on its accompanying music video. It follows in the wake of the buzzing “X’s,” which has already amassed over 5.8 million Spotify streams in addition to 11 million YouTube views on the music video
This spring, the charismatic singer-songwriter and performer is set to hit the road once again with headlining tour dates in New York City, Dallas, Chicago and more, along with a performance at Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, CA. Following high demand, Batson upgraded venues across the country with limited tickets remaining. This fall, he’s set to join one of country’s biggest stars, supporting Lainey Wilson’s Whirlwind Tour.
In a short time, Batson has skyrocketed to the forefront of country music fueled by a series of popular independent singles. Born just north of Nashville, TN and raised in Birmingham, AL, the now 15-year-old developed a fervent passion for music as a kid. Eventually, he cultivated a sharp signature style by infusing classic country storytelling and swagger with southern rock energy, pop palatability and distinctive grooves. With cuts like a current Lana Del Rey and Quavo single “Tough,” the “Tears In The River” singer will soon make his debut on the Grand Ole Opry Stage on March 26, 2025.
Gaining buzz as an artist to watch, singer and songwriter Cil serves up an unshakable and undeniable new single and music video entitled “Loser,” out now on Warner Records.
The track taps into a throwback nineties R&B bounce as Cil’s real talk simply simmers. She wrestles with her unfortunate attraction to the wrong dude, going on to loudly lament, “You got a couple girlfriends, got a temper too, and I don’t understand why I still fuck with you.” Nevertheless, she showcases her own prowess with a powerhouse hook punctuated by a self-aware realization, “Said I wouldn’t do it, but I’m falling for a loser again!” Meanwhile, handclaps uplift choir-style gang vocals, and a guitar solo wails. Directed by Boni Mata [Lauren Spencer Smith, Noah Cyrus], the visual reflects the same energy on-screen. Cil indulges in a bowl of cereal, plays old school video games, leads a girl gang on her bicycle through the neighborhood, and emanates superstar-size charisma as she throws a lot of “L’s” up.

It lands in the wake of “You’re a Liar (You Love Me).” Beyond gathering over 1 million streams, it earned acclaim. Hits Daily Double applauded how, “Her R&B-infused pop sound blends striking vulnerability with captivating melodies, delving into the complexities of messy relationships, struggles with mental health, moments of betrayal, fleeting desires and transformative self-discovery.”
Born in Colorado and based in Los Angeles, Cil (pronounced SIL) has unassumingly emerged as a phenomenon on her own terms with a hard-hitting, yet hypnotic soulful pop sound. Following a groundswell of buzz incited by early critical acclaim, hundreds of millions of streams, and even an endorsement from none other than Stevie Nicks, she has arrived as an artist with singular passion, talent, and grit.
Now working alongside the likes of Evan Blair [Rosé, Benson Boone], “You’re a Liar (You Love Me)” and “Loser” mark the true beginning for this artist to watch. In 2025, Cil holds nothing back.
Today, visionary pop artist Jake Wesley Rogers debuts the cathartic anthem “Hot Gospel” — listen HERE via Facet Records / Warner Records and watch the “Live From a Lodge” performance HERE. The hopeful track hails from the Missouri-born powerhouse’s debut full-length album, In the Key of Love, arriving May 9. Pre-order / save HERE
“Hot Gospel” is a soaring pop song that offers up a little visceral release. Amid the driving drums, pounding piano, and swaying backup vocals, Jake urges anyone going through a tough time to throw up their hands, lift up their feet, and get carried away by whatever spirit moves them: “Do the hot gospel / Do the bad believer / Do the broken healer / Do the saint, do the spell / Do the heaven, do the hell / Baby, do the hot gospel / … / Do the H-O-T G-O-S-P-E-L!”

The striking song is the third riveting glimpse of In the Key of Love following the soulful, celebratory, and subversive “God Bless” and the sparkling glam-rock triumph “Loser.”
Jake will be taking his captivating live show to stages across North America, supporting Cyndi Lauper on her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour this summer, including a two-night finale at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. See the full list of dates below and purchase tickets HERE.
Discovered by hit songwriter Justin Tranter in 2020, Jake began his path to stardom the following year when Apple Music’s Zane Lowe premiered “Middle of Love” and called him “wildly talented.” That opinion was soon shared by countless tastemakers including PeopleBillboardRolling StoneAmerican SongwriterPAPER, and Vogue. He then made a whole new army of fans with: the release of 2021’s Pluto EP, a run of North American tour dates supporting Panic! at the Disco, and unforgettable performances on Good Morning America, The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
In 2022, Rogers shared his Love EP, which included numerous standout tracks such as “Lavender Forever,” “Hindsight,” and “Dark Bird.” In 2023, he hit the road to support Kesha on her North American tour, releasing the healing anthem “Window” around that time. Now, with an entire album’s worth of new music on the horizon, Rogers returns to his mission of sharing a message of love, defiance, and — most importantly — hope.
Today, breakthrough singer-songwriter and producer sombr unveils a new song, “undressed”—listen here via Warner Records.

The song has accumulated over 33 million listens on Spotify alone—and continues to rapidly accelerate—entering Spotify’s U.S. and Global Daily Charts this week as the highest new entry. “back to friends” is hitting new peaks outside of the U.S., including in the U.K., Canada, Australia and more.
sombr’s spring dates across North America with Daniel Seavey are now underway, followed by a run in the U.K and Europe with Nessa Barrett that kicks off this summer. See a complete list of dates below.
The 19-year-old rising star recently collaborated with 2025 Brit Awards nominee Rachel Chinouriri for a new version of her hit song, “All I Ever Asked.” Listen/share HERE.
A New York-native raised on the Lower East Side, sombr—born Shane Boose—started making music in his bedroom while studying classical music as a student at the prestigious public school, LaGuardia High School. His breakout hit “Caroline” (2022) took the internet by storm, and he has since released a series of EPs and singles, climbing to over 7 million Spotify monthly listeners and 2 million daily streams. Now based in Los Angeles, sombr continues to explore young romance and heartbreak through his music—all of which is self-written and released via Warner Records.
Further new music from sombr is imminent.
Singer-songwriter Bella Poarch unveils “Will You Always Love Her?” a gripping new single and video that encapsulates the spiraling emotions and paranoia that creeps in when wondering if your significant other still loves someone from their past. Backed by an intoxicating melody and piercing vulnerability, Bella delivers a chilling, yet deeply relatable, portrait of longing and jealousy.
“The song captures the torment of longing and the crazy things heartbreak can make you do,” shares Bella. “We filmed the video in a single take to preserve that raw, unfiltered intensity, and I can’t wait for the world to experience it.”

Directed by Christina Xing, the music video captures the emotional descent of “Will You Always Love Her?”  in a surreal, psychological fever dream—where Bella, sporting blonde hair, takes center stage. Shot in a single take, the visual shifts between striking blue and red tones, mirroring the unraveling mind of someone consumed by doubt and obsession. Vines creep from the sink and shower, symbolizing intrusive thoughts taking root, before the scene is drenched in blood red—revealing a woman bound and silenced in the bathtub. Watch HERE.
Fresh off the road supporting David Kushner across Europe, rising pop artist Jenna Raine shares her latest catchy single “Good Grief.” The upbeat guitar-driven anthem heralds her forthcoming EP, Only Started Growing, arriving April 25th via Warner Records.  Listen to “Good Grief” HERE and pre-order/pre-save Only Started Growing HERE.
As the latest taste off the forthcoming 6-track EP, “Good Grief” lands in the wake of the recent fan-favorite “21,” which Jenna shared in celebration of her 21st birthday, and her 2024 hit “Roses” has amassed over 619 million views across platforms and nearly 50 million streams to date. Following its success, she went on to drop a collaborative version of the track featuring Nashville singer-songwriter Avery Anna.

Jenna Raine takes life’s little lessons, moments of bliss, and unforgettable memories and turns them into the kind of pop music that you’ve got to sing with the windows down. The Dallas, Texas-born singer and songwriter continues to enchant audiences everywhere with her personal lyrics and infectious hooks, tallying north of 371 million total streams to date. With previous viral hits like “It Is What It Is” and “see you later (ten years)” (over 215 million streams combined), Jenna’s breakout success has led to a performance at the 2023 MTV VMAs Block Party, recognition from Rolling Stone, Billboard, and V Magazine, and a cover feature in Girls’ Life Magazine. She has also collaborated with artists like Australian Christian artist Aodhán King on “Still Worthy” and Joshua Bassett on “Don’t Let Me Down.”
Stay tuned for more from Jenna Raine very soon.
Today, rising Atlanta artist B.U.G Antman unveils the Y’all Ugly EP, a psychedelic and groove-steeped trip through the aspirations, anxieties, and indulgences of a budding rap surrealist. Listen to the 8-song set HERE via Warner Records.
The immersive project is Antman’s most hypnotic and colorful yet. The tracks zoom through sticky soundscapes, surprising samples, strange interludes, neon highs, and shadowy lows. Our hero is effortless with both melody and rhythm, tumbling bars, and perfectly placed ad-libs.

On the previously unheard “Tortoise,” Antman rides a dark wave of gravity-free synth and skittering drums. Amid the unnerving atmosphere, his voice stays low to the ground, gravelly, as he stays focused on his grind: “One in the air, I’ma pop out this s— like a tortoise / Never seen a drought, I ain’t never seen a shortage / Bought it full price, I ain’t never seen a mortgage, whoa.”
Antman shared a message to accompany the EP:  “I know the title is a bit confrontational, but there’s a simple explanation! To me, accepting being ugly is analogous to accepting yourself fully and freely, warts and all, because regardless, ‘u gotta love yourself’ — u.g.l.y.”
Sure enough, Y’all Ugly is often focused on winning but also unafraid to explore dark themes. Antman previewed the EP with a pair of singles: “145 mph,” a woozy celebration of fast living that also tapped into the cost and coping that comes with the territory; and “Make Sense,” a lush cut that champions self-expression, intense focus, and getting money. The latter came with a visual rollercoaster of a video (HERE) and transfixed tastemakers upon arrival. Billboard put the song on their “R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week.” VIBE plugged it on “New Hip-Hop to Ride Out To.” BET highlighted the single in their new music roundup. And Dirty Glove Bastard professed, “The psychedelic track showcases his magnetic charisma and innovative artistry.”
Before that was the vibrant “Meltdown” and its appropriately drippy video (HERE). Throughout, though, Antman has continued to serve his fans — known as the “Colony” — a steady stream of music and visuals across his various social accounts, underscoring his outsized charisma, otherworldly talent, and commitment to world-building. Over the past few years, he’s crawled his way to the top of the new Atlanta scene, developing his singular approach across a series of projects including Goats on a Cliff (2020), Trap Infested (2023), and I See Colors (2023).
Antman hit the gas heading into 2024 with his Bug EP, produced by Bakkwoods (SoFaygo, Lil Tecca, Ken Carson), but Y’all Ugly is an undeniable level-up — the sound of a one-of-one artist coming into his own auteurish vision. Stick around to see what B.U.G Antman dreams up next.

Continuing to make waves this year, breakout singer, songwriter and celebrated storyteller Michael Marcagi unveils an introspective and nostalgic new single entitled “Follows You” – listen HERE via Warner Records. It heralds the arrival of his upcoming Midwest Kid EP, arriving April 18.
About the song, Marcagi commented, “I’d say one of my biggest red flags is not dealing with my problems head-on. Constantly being on the road and touring can make it very easy for me to brush them aside and ignore the underlying issues. ‘Follows You’ illustrates that it doesn’t matter how far you run away, life’s personal challenges will always catch up. They’re just like your shadow. Sometimes you may not be able to see it, but it’s always following you.”

Just last night, Michael delivered an impassioned performance of recent single “Flyover State” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Watch it HERE.
“Flyover State” landed just last month, and it’s already generated over 1 million Spotify streams and counting. Not to mention, he dropped by CBS Mornings to perform it on Saturday Sessions.
Weeks before, Holler hailed “Midwest Kid” as a “nostalgic, uptempo earworm,” before noting, “Michael Marcagi continues to cement himself as one of the most exciting new voices in the folk landscape.”
“Midwest Kid” followed a trio of recent singles, “Keep Me Honest,” “Good Enough”—which was co-written by Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers—and “Tear It All Apart.” Of “Tear It All Apart,” HITS professed, “Its melancholy verses give way to a rousing, redemptive chorus. The buzz on Marcagi is getting louder; he’s a true-blue story teller.” Flaunt Magazine observed, “Quite the lyricist, evoking an inspiring and relatable feeling – resonating deeply, and immediately , with those who hear it.”
Marcagi announced his arrival as a solo artist in 2024 with his Warner Records debut EP American Romance. Its Platinum-certified lead single, “Scared to Start,” reached #5 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, amassing more than 4 billion TikTok views and nearly 800 million global streams in the process. This past June, Marcagi made his late-night TV debut performing the hit on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
Marcagi is currently on the road for a run of US headline dates. Shortly after wrapping up in the US, Marcagi will be supporting The Lumineers on their EU/UK arena tour in April and May, and then will join Rainbow Kitten Surprise across the Southeastern US in June.
