A search is on to find a pregnant postal worker who mysteriously disappeared without a trace, ABC News reports.
The U.S. Postal Service has ramped up efforts to find one of their own and has offered a $25,000 reward for help in locating 27-year-old Kierra Coles. Her postal union has offered an additional $3,500 ABC7 Chicago reported.
Coles went missing Oct. 2 after being seen on video leaving her home on Chicago’s Southside with her postal uniform on. Her family members found her car still sitting outside her apartment with her cell phone on a seat inside.
The morning of the disappearance, Coles also called out of work sick.

Police are considering the disappearance as a non-suspicious missing person case.
Coles’ mother, Karen Phillips, is distraught and concerned that her daughter has been overwhelmed with life and work.

“Maybe something did happen where she was overcome with a lot, you know when you are pregnant you are emotional,” she said. “I want to say she just went somewhere and didn’t want to tell nobody and then she will just come home but I don’t feel that.”
“I talk to her every day,” Phillips told the Chicago Tribune. “I knew something was wrong. It’s just not like her.”

Dan Perkins, Phillips’ boyfriend, told WGN-TV in Chicago that something made Cole walk past her car.
“She seen something that made her turn around that fast and cross the street, and her car was on the other side of the street,” Perkins told the news station.
“Whoever it might be knows something,” her father Joseph Coles told WLS.
Joseph Coles came from Wisconsin to search for his daughter and has been passing out flyers about Cole who is a Black woman, 5-foot-4 and about 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Her father said he’s not going back home until he finds her.
