Untitled, San Francisco has appointed Kamal Zargar as its director of strategic development. His role will be to broaden Untitled’s Bay Area audience, develop museum and institutional relations, and foster community outreach through an expanding program of year-round events related to a fair that originated in Miami in 2012 and began in San Francisco in 2017.
Previously, Zargar worked for Frieze as a VIP and museum relations associate for North America. In a statement, he said, “Growing up in Northern California, this is a great opportunity to be a part of San Francisco’s dynamic art community. Made up of passionate collectors, great galleries, world-class museums, and a thriving creative community of artists, designers, and entrepreneurs, San Francisco has a lot to offer to the international art world.”
