Maryland’s Senior Senator Ben Cardin formally endorsed the re-election campaign of Congressman Kweisi Mfume today. In his statement, Senator Cardin highlighted the Congressman’s values and the need to have prepared legislators working to bring resources back to the 7th Congressional District at this time.

“Kweisi Mfume is a friend and a fellow fighter for Maryland values. I will be proud to welcome him back to Congress as an active member of Team Maryland. He needs the support of everyone across the 7th Congressional District. I know that Kweisi is ready to fight for every resource possible that will lift up the people of Baltimore and our great state,” said Senator Cardin.
