Today (April 15th), Netflix announced that its critically acclaimed series UNTOLD will return with three new stories, pulling back the curtain on epic tales from the wide (and wild) world of sports. The first of the three will break down the gambling dispute that led to guns being present in an NBA locker room.
Former Washington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton shook the basketball world with their infamous gun incident in 2009, but what really went down when guns were drawn in their NBA locker room? Through raw first-hand accounts, Arenas and Crittenton unpack the events that had a life-altering impact on both men, and ultimately led Crittenton down a dark and tragic path. For the first time, this eye-opening documentary reveals the full story.

The Propagate and Stardust Frames produced project was directed by Walter Thompson-Hernández (If I Go Will They Miss Me). Ben Silverman, Howard Owens, Isabel San Vargas, Chapman Way, Maclain Way, Ryan Duffy, Doug Banker, Trevor Engelson and Tim Livingston served as executive producers.
UNTOLD: Shooting Guards will be the first of three new films premiering weekly beginning May 6th. Stay tuned for information about the following two. While we patiently wait for next month, check out the documentary’s official trailer below. Share your thoughts in the comment section!
