Von Miller TISC Spot – Lunch Break
The latest installments of This is SportsCenter feature former Texas A&M All American and poultry science major Von Miller of the Denver Broncos bringing a little of his renowned poultry farming skills into the ESPN offices. And when one of his chickens gets loose in the office, Miller must use his deft skills as an All-Pro outside linebacker to help return him to his cage.
The spots were released in advance of tonight’s Monday Night Football game, when Miller and the Denver Broncos will host the AFC rival Kansas City Chiefs at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Said Miller, “Throughout my career I’ve seen guys in the SportsCenter commercial. Being asked to do one myself was a dream come true.”
In addition to commentary by SportsCenter’s Kenny Mayne and appearances from Stan Verrett and Neil Everett, the flock of birds supporting Miller in the spots include The Famous San Diego Chicken, Pierre the Pelican from the New Orleans Pelicans, Harry the Hawk from the Atlanta Hawks, Louis the Cardinal from the University of Louisville and Baldwin the Eagle from Boston College.
Since 1995, This is SportsCenter has given fans and viewers an inside peek at the Bristol campus with a humorous spin on day-to-day life at ESPN. The network has produced more than 400 advertising spots as part of this signature franchise.
