As of June 21st, it is officially Cancer season! Those that fall under this fascinating sign are oftentimes very talented. Above that, they’re known to have huge hearts which is is evident by how they express themselves and the way that they treat those near and dear to them. Cancers are also associated with being very passionate, generous, ambitious, emotionally intelligent and creative. There are a lot of celebrities who embody a lot of these characteristics and give Cancers a great name. Some of these celebrities include Missy Elliott, Jaden Smith and Tia and Tamera Mowry, just to name a few.

Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, Lohan was signed to Ford Models at the age of three. Having appeared as a regular on the television soap opera Another World at age 10, her breakthrough came in the Walt Disney Pictures film The Parent Trap (1998). The film’s success led to appearances in the television films Life-Size (2000) and Get a Clue (2002), and the big-screen productions Freaky Friday (2003) and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). Lohan’s early work won her childhood stardom, while the teen comedy sleeper hit Mean Girls (2004) affirmed her status as a teen idol and established her as a Hollywood leading actress.
Often referred to as the “Princess of Pop”, she is credited with influencing the revival of teen pop during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Spears has sold over 100 million records worldwide, including over 70 million in the United States, making her one of the world’s best-selling music artists. She has earned numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Award, 15 Guinness World Records, six MTV Video Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards (including the Millennium Award), the inaugural Radio Disney Icon Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her heavily choreographed videos earned her the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
In 2002, she made her Hollywood film debut in the comedy The Hot Chick. She rose to fame in 2004 with the comedy Mean Girls and the romantic drama The Notebook. In 2005, she starred in the romantic comedy Wedding Crashers, the psychological thriller Red Eye, and the comedy-drama The Family Stone. She was hailed by the media as Hollywood’s new “it girl”, and received a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Rising Star. Since then she has gone on to star in countless films including the mystery film Sherlock Holmes (2009), the superhero film Doctor Strange (2016) and its sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) and the comedies Game Night (2018) and  Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. (2023) just to name a few. 
Dubbed the “Pop Chameleon”, she has been recognized for her musical versatility and continual reinvention in her sound and style. Cyrus has been referred to as the “Teen Queen” of 2000s pop culture and regarded as one of the few examples of a child star with a successful career as an adult. Her accolades include nineteen Teen Choice Awards, four World Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, one People’s Choice Award, a GLAAD Media Award, and 8 Guinness World Records. She has made the Time 100 list in 2008 and 2014, Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2014 and 2021, appeared on Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Artists chart in 2019, and was ranked as the ninth greatest Billboard 200 female artist of all time.
Hasselhoff has set a Guinness World Record as the most watched man on TV. Hasselhoff first gained recognition on The Young and The Restless (1975–1982), playing the role of Dr. Snapper Foster. His career continued with his leading role as Michael Knight on Knight Rider (1982–1986) and as L.A. County Lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in Baywatch (1989–2000). He also produced Baywatch from the 1990s until 2001 when the series ended with Baywatch Hawaii.
Downey’s career has been characterized by critical and popular success in his youth, followed by a period of substance abuse and legal troubles, before a resurgence of commercial success later in his career. In 2008, Downey was named by Time magazine among the 100 most influential people in the world, and from 2013 to 2015, he was listed by Forbes as Hollywood’s highest-paid actor. Downey gained global recognition for starring as Tony Stark/Iron Man in ten films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with Iron Man (2008), and leading up to Avengers: Endgame (2019). He has also played the title character in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes (2009), which earned him his second Golden Globe, and its sequel, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011).
This musician, record executive and television presenter’s career began in the 1980s as a session musician playing bass guitar for an array of jazz, pop, rock, and R&B performers. He moved on to work in music production and in the A&R department at Columbia Records and MCA Records. Jackson is best known from his appearances as the longest-serving judge on American Idol and executive producer for MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.
Often described as “the best actress of her generation”, Streep is particularly known for her versatility and accent adaptability. She has received numerous accolades throughout her four decade plus career, including a record 21 Academy Award nominations (three wins) and a record 32 Golden Globe Award nominations (eight wins).
The world’s highest-paid actress in 2015 and 2016, Lawrence’s films have grossed over $6 billion worldwide. She appeared in Times 100 most influential people in the world list in 2013 and the Forbes Celebrity 100 list from 2013 to 2016. After starting her career at fourteen, her film debut came in the drama Garden Party (2008). Her career progressed with starring roles as the mutant Mystique in the X-Men film series (2011–2019) and Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games film series (2012–2015). The latter made her the highest-grossing action heroine.
Since beginning het acting career at the age of twelve, Portman has had a prolific film career and has starred in various blockbusters (the Star Wars series, Closer (2004), V for Vendetta (2005), the psychological horror film Black Swan (2010), the biopic Jackie (2016) and the Marvel Cinematic Thor series which made her one of the world’s highest paid actresses) and independent films. She has received multiple accolades, including an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.
After a successful college career with the TCU Horned Frogs, the San Diego Chargers selected him as the fifth overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. He spent nine years with the Chargers, earning five Pro Bowl appearances, three Associated Press first-team All-Pro nominations, and two NFL rushing titles. Tomlinson was also voted the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2006 after breaking the record for touchdowns in a single season. He played two further seasons with the New York Jets, before retiring. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.
A pioneer of early television with a career spanning seven decades, White was lauded for her vast television appearances acting in sitcoms, sketch comedy, and game shows. She produced and starred in the series Life with Elizabeth (1953–1955), making her the first woman to produce a sitcom. Dubbed “the first lady of game shows”, she became the first woman to receive the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host for the show Just Men! in 1983. White’s biggest roles include Sue Ann Nivens on the CBS sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1973–1977), Rose Nylund on the NBC sitcom The Golden Girls (1985–1992), and Elka Ostrovsky on the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010–2015). For her lengthy work in radio, television, and film, White twice earned the Guinness World Record for the longest TV career by a female entertainer in both 2014 and 2018. She received various awards and nominations, including seven Emmy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Grammy Award. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1995.
