Tekashi69 was a no-show at Howard University’s homecoming, which caused major problems for promoters who are considering legal action against the rap star after losing $300,000,TMZ reports.

Show promoters had to scramble after learning 35 minutes before the doors would open that Tekashi69 wouldn’t be hitting the stage at Echostage in Washington, D.C. The throngs of 400 concert-goers had to be turned away. And promoters had to refund 3,000 people to cover their ticket price.

The promoters, TMZ reports, are planning to sue the rapper for the six-figure loss.

This isn’t the first time that 6ix9ine failed to show-face either. The rapper canceled on the concert promoters before.

To add insult to injury, 6ix9ine was paid $60K in advance for his concert appearance and then was seen on social media performing at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse concert in New Jersey.

Recently the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, dodged prison time when he was sentenced to four years’ probation in a child sex performance case.

The Manhattan case involved sexual interaction with an underage girl on a social media site in 2015. He was also ordered to serve 1000 hours of community service and also avoid any sort of gang activity.

He is still facing misdemeanor assault charges in two different states.

Earlier this year, shots were fired on the set of a music video starring 50 Cent and Tekashi69.

The rappers were unharmed but reportedly in the line of fire as someone did a drive-by in a white Porsche. Witnesses told TMZ at least 11 shots were fired and the shooter reportedly used a 9 mm semi-automatic weapon during the video shoot in Brooklyn.

Tekashi and 50 were present as well as Casanova and Uncle Murda.
