Fans have been showing their appreciation for former Today Show host Tamron Hall following Megyn Kelly’s blackface comments. On Thursday, Hall let fans know what she’s been up to since NBC canceled her morning show with Al Roker in 2017.
After it was reported that Kelly would be out at the network, many fans called for Hall to return to the network.
The 48-year-old journalist, however, responded to a fan directly on Twitter about what she is currently up to. “See my pinned tweet about my syndicated talk show. Oh and raising money for @SafeHorizon Tamron [purple heart emoji] Renate fund! Oh and taping Season 6 of #deadlinecrime,” she wrote.
I do!! I do!! See my pinned tweet about my syndicated talk show. Oh and raising money for @SafeHorizon Tamron ?Renate fund! Oh and taping Season 6 of #deadlinecrime and oh “livin’ my best life” ??? I hope that’s enough ? https://t.co/s5YGdB5sjf

Hall concluded the message by indirectly comparing her peace of mind to Kelly’s controversy writing, “And oh ‘livin’ my best life’ [eye emojis] I hope that’s enough.’” The reference is rapper Cardi B’s song, “Best Life,” featuring Chance the rapper on her chart-topping debut album, Invasion of Privacy.
She caused a bit of commotion after sharing a photo of herself with former Today co-host Roker, who called out Kelly for her racist comments.
Smiling ear to ear tonight with @alroker!!! Bravo Mr.Roker for an incredible performance in @WaitressMusical ?? The entire cast lit up the stage. A magical Broadway NYC night. I’m blessed to know this icon. Yes he sings in the show!!!!! pic.twitter.com/3FUpB5kuHY

In September, the journalist announced that she would be hosting a syndicated talk show on ABC Owned Television Stations Group in Fall 2019.

In the meantime, check out what people had to say about Hall in the tweets below.
If y’all don’t take Ms Megan back to Fox and give Tamron Hall that hour! @NBC, this is OUTRAGEOUS. She’s not stupid, nor oblivious to the origins and of this racist act of performance. If she is this stupid, she DEFINITELY doesn’t deserve a show… https://t.co/zsQYPq7vPv

I for sure know you would have never had this race discussion with a host favoring wearing Black Face if @tamronhall still ran the show. Tamron ran the show with class.

I would like someone @nbcnews to explain how they concluded it was a good idea to ditch Tamron Hall in favor of the woman who thinks it was “ok” to wear blackface when she was a kid.

I hope somewhere, @tamronhall is enjoying a nice glass of “Go f— yourself, NBC.”

justice for tamron hall, period.

Nope. That hour belongs only to @tamronhall and if never return to a network that pays millions to rapist Lauer and racially insensitive Meg while nearly bankrupting my family for just telling the truth. F —- Andy Lack https://t.co/AOR9tsCOCY
