Colman Domingo redefined the power suit at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards, and he did it with effortless style.
Jetting across the pond to celebrate the best in UK film and television, the Euphoria star served a monochromatic look, exuding quiet luxury and undeniable power.
Colman’s look represented Black excellence in all of its glory – and we were here for it all.
Known for his red carpet slays, Colman rocked a black Mugler suit with sharp, exaggerated shoulders that delivered major drama and structure. Underneath, he kept things coyly sexy with a deep V-neck—just enough skin to keep it interesting.
To top it all off, Colman added a sleek black headpiece, a regal nod to Black fashion icons. He then finished the look with sharp patent leather pointed-toe shoes—because why not flex a little harder?
Colman continues to set the bar for menswear and red carpet looks, proving that Black men can dominate high fashion with style, grace, and just the right amount of edge.
Speaking to PEOPLE about his approach to fashion, he emphasized his desire to live his best life through his attire. Collaborating with stylists Wayman and Micah, Colman described his looks as “effortlessly luxurious”—a perfect blend of fun and intention.
In a February 2025 interview, he shared, “We figured it out—what I love and what I feel comfortable in.” He explained that his style is fluid, always telling a story that reflects a moment, a film, or even his current mindset. “If my body’s changing, if I want to feel… usually the term is effortlessly luxurious.”
And because confidence is everything, he added, “I want to look like I’m having a good time. I don’t just want to be at the party—I am the party.”
Of course, Colman knows when to dial it back, too (if we can even call it that).
He told PEOPLE, “Sometimes I don’t mind receding into a more monochromatic look that just makes me feel elegant and lets it be about the words I’m speaking rather than the clothes.”
His BAFTA moment perfectly showcased that balance of sophistication and personality.
