College football’s regular season is headed towards a climactic conclusion on ESPN/ABC, as six conference champions will be crowned in the span of 24 hours (Nov. 30 – Dec. 1) followed by the exclusive reveal of the College Football Playoff selection committee’s final rankings (Dec. 2) determining the College Football Playoff field and the match-ups for the entire New Year’s Six.

The Big 12, American Athletic and ACC Championship Games on ABC
The Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship (noon) will begin an ABC tripleheader on Saturday, Dec. 1, with the game from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, leading into the American Athletic Championship (3:30 p.m.) followed by the Dr Pepper ACC Championship (8 p.m.). The AAC Championship will be played on a campus site determined by the participating team with the better conference record and the ACC finale will be hosted by Bank of American Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.

The Big 12 Championship returns to ABC, its home from the 1996 season through the 2010 season. The conference didn’t play a conference championship game from 2011-2016.

Inaugural Sun Belt Championship Game and Mountain West Championship Air on ESPN
ESPN will also televise two games on Dec. 1, beginning with the inaugural Sun Belt Conference Championship (noon) and concluding with the Mountain West Conference Championship (7:45 p.m.). Both games will be played on campus sites, determined by the participating team with the better conference record.

Pinnacle Weekend Begins with Marathon MAC Championship on ESPN2
The Marathon MAC Championship (7 p.m.) will begin the pinnacle weekend, airing Friday, Nov. 30, on ESPN2. The matchup between the conference’s East and West division winners will take place at Ford Field in Detroit.

ESPN is the Home of College Football’s Selection Day
ESPN will once again offer complete college football’s Selection Day coverage on Sunday, Dec. 2, including the final reveal of the College Football Playoff Committee’s rankings. More details on the network’s programming will be announced in the coming weeks.
