ESPN, the exclusive home of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, will reveal the 64-team bracket during the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Special presented by Capital One on Monday, March 12, at 7 p.m. ET. The two-hour special will begin on ESPN, before moving to ESPNU at 8 p.m.
Host Maria Taylor, and analysts Andy Landers, Kara Lawson and Rebecca Lobo, will reveal the teams vying for a national championship, with coverage from bracketologist Charlie Creme, who will report live from the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Selection Committee meeting in Indianapolis. Rhonda Bennett, Chair of the Committee, will be interviewed in the first hour of the show.
Fans will get a glimpse at the Committee’s discussions prior to Selection Monday. In the 5 p.m. hour of SportsCenter on Sunday, March 11, NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Selection Committee Chair Rhonda Bennett will join SportsCenter to reveal, in alphabetical order, the final eight teams which will be considered for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. Out of this list of eight teams, four will make the tournament and four will not when the complete women’s tournament bracket is announced Monday during the Selection Special.
The Selection Special is a part of the Tournament Challenge Marathon, bringing 25-consecutive hours of coverage and analysis as fans prepare their brackets via the ESPN Tournament Challenge App for the men’s and women’s college basketball tournaments.

Additionally, espnW will profile players such as Louisville’s Asia Durr, Ohio State scoring phenom Kelsey Mitchell, UCLA super duo Jordin Canada and Monique Billings and Michigan’s Katelynn Flaherty.
Tournament Coverage
ESPN is the home of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship, which begins Friday, March 16. Every round of the championship will air on ESPN or ESPN2. The Women’s Final Four will be live from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, with the semifinals on Friday, March 30, and the national championship title game on Sunday, April 1.
ESPN and ESPN2 will present regionalized telecasts with home market protection through the first two rounds. ESPN3 will offer first- and second-round games in their entirety as a supplement to ESPN and ESPN2’s coverage. The final 15 games, beginning with the Regional Semifinals, will have national telecast windows on ESPN or ESPN2.
