Saturdays in the South Debut, TrueSouth Season Two Highlight SEC Network’s Fall Programming Slate

• Saturdays in the South Presented by Regions Bank premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 3
• TrueSouth returns on Sunday, Sept. 1
• Homecoming with Paul Finebaum and The Moment with Laura Rutledge to air on Friday, Aug. 30

SEC Network returns its full fall programming lineup, including the second season of the critically-acclaimed series TrueSouth, beginning this week. The network’s total programming schedule features more than a dozen offerings, including the highly-anticipated multi-part documentary Saturdays in the South: A History of SEC Football, which airs over the course of eight consecutive Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. The eight-part, 12-hour film, presented by Regions Bank, premieres Tuesday, Sept. 3.

TrueSouth Season Two Sees Four New Cities in the Spotlight
SEC Network will welcome back Southern food and culture series TrueSouth to its lineup this fall. Executive produced by ESPN Senior Writer Wright Thompson and writer and host John T. Edge, season two of the show follows Edge as he travels around New Orleans, Beaumont, Texas, Hodgenville, Ky. and Memphis, Tenn., introducing viewers to Southern tastemakers, food, culture and history as they intertwine in the beautiful yet complex South.

Each episode revolves around two bedrock spots that locals cherish. From those bases, the show explores cities and their environs, getting to know good people through good food.

Joining the Week 1 programming slate is the second episode of The Moment with Laura Rutledge on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Homecoming with Paul Finebaum featuring Vanderbilt alum and TODAY Show co-host Willie Geist preceding at 7 p.m.

In addition, SEC Network returns its weekly roster of studio programming in 2019:

• SEC Inside (Returns Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 8 p.m.)
  Taking viewers onto the practice field and into the locker room, SEC Inside features SEC Network crews spending time with different Southeastern Conference teams as they prepare for their respective matchups. The show, shot in cinematic style, delivers new vantage points and exclusive sound from coaches and sidelines. This week’s show features an in-depth look at Florida’s hard-fought win over Miami (FL). SEC Inside airs regularly on Tuesday nights throughout the fall.
• SEC Film Room (Returns Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 8 p.m.)
  SEC Film Room breaks down the Xs and Os with Southeastern Conference coaches and players. The show is hosted by SEC Network college football analyst and former Georgia offensive lineman, Matt Stinchcomb, who was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2018. SEC Film Room airs regularly on Thursday nights throughout the fall.
• SEC This Morning (Returns Monday, Sept. 2 at 7 a.m.)
  SEC This Morning, hosted by SEC Network anchor Peter Burns and former Florida All-American Chris Doering, will be simulcast on SEC Network live on Monday mornings from 7-10 a.m. The show, which airs live weekday mornings on Sirius XM, delves into all things SEC, with all the headlines, highlights and hijinks from around the conference. New this year, Best of SEC This Morning will air at 2 p.m. on Mondays with the standout segments, interviews and debates of the morning.
• Thinking Out Loud Presented by Regions Bank (Returns Monday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m.) 
  Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears return with their hit football show, Thinking Out Loud. The show relies on the two analysts’ viewpoints having played on opposite sides of the ball throughout their collegiate and professional careers. Fans are encouraged to tweet @SECNetwork with their opinions throughout the show, as McElroy and Spears, along with Alyssa Lang, keep the dialogue going between signature segments such as ‘Fansplaining,’ ‘Surfing the Web,’ ‘Come @ Me,’ ‘Big Man on Campus’ and ‘You Mad, Bro?’
• SEC Featured Presented by Belk (Returns Monday, Sept. 2 at 8 p.m.) 
  Hosted by Alyssa Lang, SEC Featured Presented by Belk is a weekly wrap-up of the week’s SEC Network features across all studio show programming. The program provides fans the opportunity to see the storylines beyond the sidelines.
• Marty & McGee (Returns Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.)
  Capitalizing on the popular ESPN Radio show by the same name, Marty & McGee comes to SEC Network every Wednesday evening in the fall, with the duo meeting at the crossroads of southern culture and college football.

SEC Network mainstays SEC Nation and SEC Now are back in full swing for the 2019 college football season, and SEC Nation will welcome recurring digital reporter Maria Montgomery to different Nation stops throughout the fall.

Each weekly show on SEC Network’s fall schedule will re-air multiple times on SEC Network and across ESPN’s networks, and select studio shows will be available on demand on the ESPN App.
