Philip Kennicott calls the Hans Haacke retrospective at the New Museum in New York “an exhilarating tribute to the artist’s consistency of vision, his integrity and ideals and his resistance to the trivial, distracting and dissipating forces of the contemporary art world.” [The Washington Post]

Performance
On the occasion of the opening of her exhibition at the Red Brick Museum in Beijing, artist Sarah Lucas performed the work One Thousand Eggs: For Women, in which the artist and other participants throw eggs against a wall.
