ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, host of The Jump, and analyst Richard Jefferson, will be on site in Shanghai, starting on Tuesday, October 8, to host segments of The Jump as part of NBA China Games coverage. The Los Angeles Lakers will square off with the Brooklyn Nets twice next week. Nichols and Jefferson will be located at the team practice facilities and NBA Cares events. The segments will feature exclusive interviews with NBA players and personnel, including Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer David Robinson. Content from China will also appear on SportsCenter and across ESPN’s digital and social media platforms. The Jump airs at 3 p.m. ET weekly on ESPN.
ESPN.com NBA reporter Dave McMenamin will also be in China documenting news and information from site.
On Saturday, October 12, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers face Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets at 7:30 a.m. on ESPN2. Play-by-Play announcer Marc Kestecher will call the action. The analyst is to be determined.

Marc Spears, senior NBA writer for ESPN’s The Undefeated, will travel to India with the Sacramento Kings ahead of the Kings’ preseason games against the Indiana Pacers. Spears will report on Kings Owner Vivek Ranadive and his journey back to his native country. Spears will also chronicle De’Aaron Fox’s experience on the trip. Fox will write a daily diary for The Undefeated.
