ACC teams will continue to enjoy unprecedented levels of exposure this fall with the launch of the ACC Network (ACCN), the new, 24/7 national platform launching on Thursday, Aug. 22. ACCN’s digital platform ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), will also air more than 400 ACC controlled live events this fall with over 800 hours of programming.
Additionally, beginning on August 22, upon launch of ACCN, ACCNX on the ESPN App will only be available to subscribers with access to ACCN through their pay TV providers.
Included in the more than 800 hours of live programming on ACCNX:
- 168 volleyball games
- 108 women’s soccer games
- 91 men’s soccer games
- 42 field hockey games
- 5 football games
- 2019 ACC Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships
ACCNX coverage kicks off on August 22 with seven women’s soccer games.
With the launch of ACCN, all live events airing on the network will be available via replay on ACCNX for 30 days following the conclusion of the event.

Owned and operated by ESPN in partnership with the Atlantic Coast Conference, ACC Network (ACCN) is a new 24/7 national network dedicated to ACC sports launching on August 22, 2019. Approximately 450 live contests including 40 regular-season football games, 150 men’s and women’s basketball games, and 200 other regular-season competitions and tournament games from across the conference’s 27 sponsored sports will be televised annually, plus a complement of news and information shows and original programming. Together, the ACCN and its digital platform, ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), will feature 1,350 ACC events in its first year. ESPN has been televising ACC content since 1979 and has exclusive rights to every conference-controlled game across all sports and championships.
