Need a little boost to keep those New Year resolutions? Well, help is one the way.
Media mogul and lifestyle influencer Oprah Winfrey is kicking off 2020 with a cross-coutntry wellness tour, and she’s bringing a superstar cast with her, including FLOTUS-for-life Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Dwayne Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Lady Gaga, Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, and Kate Hudson.
“Say goodbye to procrastination, denial, feeling stuck and wishing for a better life,” Winfrey told “O” magazine readers in the latest issue <https://www.oprahmag.com/life/a28899378/oprah-ww-tour/>. “My hope is to make 2020 the year of transformation for you—mind, body and spirit.”
“Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus” kicks off Jan. 4 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where Oprah will interview Lady Gaga. The nine-city tour continues in St. Paul, Minn., where she’ll chat with Fey. In Charlotte, N.C., Schumer will be the guest of honor. The tour continues in Atlanta, where she’ll interview Johnson; Brooklyn, N.Y., is where she’ll find Obama; Dallas, Texas, for Ellis-Ross; Sean Francisco will feature Hudson and in Los Angeles Oprah will hold a cconversation with Lopez. Of course, no Oprah event would be complete without her bestie Gayle King, who will be seen in Denver.
In a addition to the celebrity changemakers, each leg of the tour will feature a pre-show dance party, reflections from Oprah on her own wellness journey with Weight Watchers, a motivational speaker and a choreographed dance workshop headed by Julianne Hough. Each attendee will be encouraged to generate their own 2020 action plan.
“This is going to be a day-long party for everyone, celebrating all that you are—and all that you’re meant to be,” Winfrey said. “Let’s make it happen in 2020!”
