The Olandria Carthen Pandora campaign pairs the Love Island USA star with beauty icon Pat McGrath in a collection inspired by glamour and self-expression.
Olandria Carthen’s latest fashion milestone began as a wish.
After meeting legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath last year, the “Love Island USA” star publicly expressed interest in working with her. Now, the two women are starring together in a new Pandora jewelry campaign.
The collaboration translates McGrath’s bold beauty aesthetic into jewelry featuring lips, lipstick, and heart-inspired designs. In an interview with Marie Claire, Carthen described working alongside the renowned artist as surreal, saying McGrath’s encouragement on set helped her feel confident.
“I never felt so confident on set before,” Carthen said. “It didn’t feel like I was in reality at all. Her always pouring into me, saying that I’m doing great, supporting me and everything that I do, means so much coming from someone like that, who’s been in the industry for quite some time.”
The partnership brings together two of Carthen’s longstanding interests: beauty and accessories. Her love of jewelry began in childhood, when she wore rings on nearly every finger. She later received her first Pandora charm bracelet from her mother for Christmas, adding charms to mark important milestones in her life.
Among her most treasured possessions is a ring passed down from her grandmother, which she says represents the memories and emotional connections jewelry can carry across generations.
That history makes her latest campaign particularly meaningful.

Carthen also credits accessories with helping her develop the memorable looks she wore during her time on “Love Island USA.”
Working with a limited wardrobe budget, she discovered that statement heels, sunglasses and jewelry could transform even the most inexpensive swimsuits into standout outfits.
“You’ll be amazed what tailoring and accessories can truly do to an outfit,” she told Marie Claire.
But for Carthen, great style isn’t about how much an outfit costs or keeping up with the latest trends. It’s about expressing herself and embracing whatever feels right in the moment.
“I really feel like fashion is all about self-expression. It’s all about finding your own identity,” she told Marie Claire. “We’re not made to follow trends. I’ve never been a fan of that. I kind of always wanted to make my own thing.”
That philosophy extends to how she dresses each day, with her mood often determining everything from the colors she wears to the silhouettes she chooses.
For Carthen, the Pandora collaboration is more than a campaign appearance. It connects her personal history with the brand to an opportunity to work alongside an artist she admires. The result reflects her belief that jewelry can tell a story, elevate an outfit, and help people express who they are.
