NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Semifinals and Championship on ESPN Networks

• NCAA Division II & III Football Championships on ESPNU

All roads lead to Minneapolis this week as the NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship takes over Target Center. The semifinals will air Thursday, Dec. 13, on ESPN, when No. 4 BYU faces No. 1 Stanford (7 p.m. ET) and the defending champions, No. 7 Nebraska, take on No. 3 Illinois (9 p.m.). The cornhuskers and Cardinal hold the last three titles while the Cougars and Illini are both in pursuit of their first ever NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship. The championship match will air Saturday, Dec. 15 at 9 p.m. on ESPN2.

Lead volleyball analyst Karch Kiraly, play-by-play announcer Paul Sunderland and sideline staple Holly Rowe will cover the action for both the semifinals and the championship match. On Thursday, in between the semifinal matches, an NCAA update will air live from Target Center hosted by Courtney Lyle with analysts John Dunning and Nell Fortner.

ESPN’s college football coverage continues with the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Football Championship, the NCAA Division II Championship and NCAA Division III Championship airing on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

The field has narrowed to four on the road to Frisco for the NCAA Division I Football Championship. Coverage of the semifinals begins Friday, Dec. 15, at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 when No. 5 South Dakota State faces defending champion No. 1 North Dakota State. Taylor Zarzour, Matt Stinchcomb and Kris Budden are on the call. The semifinals continue on Saturday, Dec. 15 when No. 7 Maine meets No. 3 Eastern Washington at 2 p.m. on ESPN2 with Dave Neal, D.J. Shockley and Dawn Davenport calling the action. South Dakota and Maine will be looking for their first FCS Championship while Eastern Washington looks for its first since 2010. North Dakota State hopes to continue a historic run winning their seventh title in eight years.  The NCAA Division I Football Championship will air on ESPN2 at noon on Saturday, Jan. 5, live from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

The NCAA Division II Football Championship will air on ESPNU at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, from McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas. No. 3 Ferris State will face No. 1 Valdosta State for the title. This would be the first championship for Ferris State and the first since 2012 for Valdosta State. Tiffany Green, Tom Luginbill and Alex Corddry are on the call.

The NCAA Division III Football Championship is Friday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. on ESPNU, from Wood Forest Stadium in Shenandoah, Texas. It will be a re-match of last year’s championship when Mary Hardin-Baylor meets Mount Union. These two programs hold the last three championships with Mount Union winning in 2015 and 2017 and Mary Hardin-Baylor winning its first title in 2016.
