Our girl Monica has proven once again why she’s a style and hair chameleon. The singer, who has wowed the girlies with her ever evolving looks for years, took to Instagram with bold new hair that has social media buzzing: platinum blonde locks.

Monica, who’s been a hair and fashion slayer since the ’90s, dropped her new look on August 24. She posted a series of carousel pictures that are a 10 out of 10.

Her hair featured long, luxurious blonde waves cascading like pure silk and a bleached hue perfectly matching Monica’s skin. With a sultry side part and voluminous body, Monica’s new ‘do is both fierce and glamorous, adding a fresh and edgy twist to her signature style.
The singer paired her stunning blonde hair with equally striking makeup. She wore icy blue eyeliner, soft blush, and a nude lippie in the pictures. The cool-toned liner accentuated her piercing eyes, giving her look an extra dose of drama and edge.
Monica didn’t stop at a stunning blonde hair transformation; she took it up a notch by pairing her new icy locks with an equally icy outfit. The R&B queen opted for a monochromatic ensemble that perfectly complemented her platinum blonde waves.
She rocked a chic, powder-blue sheer top that added a soft, ethereal vibe to the look, while the matching light blue bra underneath gave a bold, edgy twist. Over this, she draped a tailored powder-blue blazer, which added a touch of sophistication and seamlessly tied the whole outfit together.
The real showstopper, however, was Monica’s high-waisted jeans adorned with cascading white feather embellishments. The feathery details not only added texture and movement to the outfit but also amplified the luxurious feel of the entire look.
