ESPN will present the NCAA men’s and women’s lacrosse championships across ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 this month, culminating with the crowning of two national champions. Coverage begins today with the men’s opening round, as UMBC faces Marist (7 p.m. ET, ESPN3). The top eight seeds will host the first round, with teams facing off on Saturday, May 11, at noon, and continuing Sunday, May 12, on ESPNU. Inside Lacrosse’s Media All-Americans will be revealed during halftime of Sunday’s 7:30 p.m. game – players will be determined by the media members who vote in IL’s weekly poll. Quarterfinals will take place Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, in Hempstead N.Y., and East Hartford, Conn.

Winners will advance to championship weekend in Philadelphia, taking place over Memorial Day weekend. ESPN’s 25th consecutive season of complete championship weekend coverage will include the semifinals live on Saturday, May 25 (noon and 2:30 p.m.), and the title game on Monday, May 27 (1 p.m.), all on ESPN2.

The women’s championship on ESPN3 begins Friday with first-round matchups, also taking place at campus sites. Games will air on ESPN3 and the ESPN App through championship weekend, with the semifinals on ESPN3 and the championship game on ESPNU.
