From her own wedding to a bridal line, Jordyn Woods is celebrating the woman behind the bride
Jordyn Woods is turning her newlywed chapter into a fashion statement with the launch of WOODS Bridal, her first-ever bridal collection. Released just two weeks after her wedding to New York Knicks forward Karl-Anthony Towns, the collection blends traditional bridal aesthetics with her message of self-love and independence.
The entrepreneur and fashion designer’s initial launch features an eight-piece collection with four shoes and four handbags. According to Essence, the collection includes updated versions of Woods’ signature pieces as well as new designs. Among the handbags are the Tux Clutch Mini White Ostrich, croc-embossed variations, a white Large Tote and the new Box Purse. The footwear lineup includes white versions of the Stunt Sandal and Rev Boot, alongside the new Sandal Wedge and Icon Heel.
The campaign also carries a personal connection. Woods is photographed with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle decorated with tin cans, a tribute to her late father. Other images incorporate pieces from the collection into moments from her actual wedding. But Woods says the collection is about more than wedding fashion.
Her concept centers on choosing yourself before entering a new chapter with someone else.
“Before I ever decided to get married, I had to make the decision to marry myself first,” Woods wrote in announcing the collection. That message also defines the broader identity of WOODS Bridal: bridalwear as an expression of self-confidence, personal growth and the woman a bride has become.
