Regina Jackson, the mother of Washington Commanders star quarterback Jayden Daniels, was the center of attention over the weekend for protecting her son like his offensive line—not from an opposing defense but from USC hoops star JuJu Watkins
Jayden Daniels didn’t think he would be the topic of discussion on social media when he decided to attend a women’s college basketball game.

The electric quarterback who has resurrected the Commanders football franchise was in the building to support the women’s USC Trojans basketball team and, ahead of their matchup, got a visit from JuJu Watkins in the stands.
Cameras spotted the two athletes having a very friendly conversation, sparking talks about a potential relationship. Still, one person might not be on board with that: Daniels’ momma, Regina Jackson.
Ms. Jackson’s perceived c***blocking has sparked a bevy of reactions from social media users, with some believing she is doing entirely too much and possibly being a hater.
One user on X, formerly Twitter wrote, “Jayden Daniel’s mom weird for sitting in between them like that break it off like Juju ain’t got her own bag.. like be fr.”
Jayden Daniels’s mom protecting her son from Juju Watkins, a dedicated women worth multi millions. This is not good parenting. This is just weird,” another post on X read.
One of the keys to growing into your mahhood is being able to directly tell your mom that youre grown and dont need her guidance anymore. At some point jayden daniels is gonna have to grow into his manhood and tell his mom to get the fuck out of his way. Literally,” said another user on X.
Word on the street is that Watkins is already spoken for, and many are linking her to Arkansas Razorbacks guard Dajuan Marquette Wagner Jr. So, all of this hoopla surrounding this moment with Daniels and his mother could just be social media noise.
Regardless, there are plenty of reactions, which you can see in the gallery below.
