The #MAYhem of college softball begins in full force this week with more than 70 conference tournament games over four exciting days (May 9-12), including 11 conference championship games, all leading into the NCAA Softball Selection Special Presented By Capital One on ESPN2 (May 13, 10 p.m. ET). Games will available across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, SEC Network, ESPN3, ACC Network Extra and ESPN+– the new direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from the Walt Disney Company Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) group and ESPN.

Home of the ‘Ship
ESPN’s Networks and ESPN+ will carry conference championship games from the American, ASUN, ACC, Big South, Horizon, Missouri Valley, SEC, Southern, Southland, Sun Belt and Summit League tournaments. On Saturday, May 12 ESPN will televise the ACC championship (noon) and ESPN2 will televise the American Conference (noon) and the SEC (8 p.m.) championships. That same day, ESPN3 streams the Big South (noon) and ESPN+ carries the Horizon League (noon), ASUN (1 p.m.), Southern (1p.m.), Missouri Valley (2 p.m.), Sun Belt (2 p.m.) and Summit League (2 p.m.).

The Big South (2:30 p.m.), Horizon League (2:30 p.m.), ASUN (3 p.m.), Southern (3:30 p.m.) and Summit League (4:30 p.m.) could all play a possible second “if necessary” championship game on Saturday with all network designations consistent with those indicated for the first championship games. The Southland tournament will conclude on Friday, May 11, (1 p.m.) on ESPNews, with an “if necessary” game (2:30 p.m.) available on ESPN3.

Six Conferences, Every Game
Every game from the ACC, ASUN, Horizon League, Missouri Valley, SEC and Sun Belt Tournaments will be available across ESPN’s portfolio of networks and ESPN+. All tournaments begin on Wednesday and Thursday, May 9 and 10. SEC Network will air the first (Wednesday) and second (Thursday) rounds of the SEC tournament with the semifinals (Friday, May 11) moving to ESPNU. ACC Network Extra will stream all games from the ACC Tournament leading up to the final on ESPN (Saturday, May 12). All action from the ASUN, Horizon League, Missouri Valley and Sun Belt will be available via ESPN+.

LIVE FROM CoMo. . .it’s SEC NOW
In addition to every game of the SEC Tournament being available across ESPN networks, SEC Network will also have a studio presence on site in Columbia, Mo. SEC Now will air its first edition from CoMo on Wednesday, May 9 at 11:30 a.m. prior to first pitch of the tournament at noon. The show will then air between each first and second round games (approximately 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.) and conclude with a one-hour recap show (approximately 9:30 p.m.) both nights.

SEC Now airs Friday, May 11, at 2:30 p.m. on SEC Network, leading into the first semifinal (ESPNU) and again at 5 p.m.  on ESPNU leading into the second semifinal. Prior to the championship, SEC Now will be live at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Following Friday’s semifinals and Saturday’s championship game, SEC Now will recap the day’s action at 10 p.m. on SEC Network.

Molly McGrath will host the daytime editions of SEC Now on Wednesday and Thursday with Laura Rutledge handling the evening editions and all episodes on Friday and Saturday. Kayla Braud and Madison Shipman will be the analysts for all onsite editions.

Who’s In?
Beth Mowins returns to host the NCAA Softball Selection Special Presented By Capital One alongside lead analysts Michele Smith and Amanda Scarborough. The trio will unveil the 64-team NCAA Division I Softball Championship bracket live on Sunday, May 13 at 10 p.m. on ESPN2. Smith and Scarborough will be on hand to analyze the field, preview the action in each region and predict which teams are most likely to advance.

Softball sideline staple Holly Rowe will be live from Indianapolis with the chair of the selection committee, Natalie Shock, for insight into the committee’s decisions as to who made the tournament. MLB and softball post-season analyst Jessica Mendoza will join the team from her Sunday Night Baseball stop in Phoenix to offer her reaction to the field.

#RoadtoWCWS
ESPN continues as the home of the NCAA Division I Softball Championship, televising every game of the Super Regionals and Women’s College World Series (WCWS), as well as coverage of nearly all regional play. Further coverage details will be available in the coming weeks.

Fans can keep up with the action thanks to 7Innings, a weekly softball podcast chronicling the Road to the WCWS. Each week ESPN personalities covering the sport shine a spotlight on the teams and players that make the sport so special. The talent line-up includes Beth Mowins, Michele Smith, Jessica Mendoza, Amanda Scarborough, Holly Rowe, Laura Rutledge and Adam Amin.

Beginning Wednesday, May 9 and continuing through the WCWS, a new 7Innings podcast will be available every Wednesday via iTunes and Google Play. As an added bonus, there will be shorter editions available—“Extra Innings”—immediately after the NCAA Softball Selection Special Presented By Capital One and every morning of the WCWS.
