Jamie Foxx might have called it quits with actress Katie Holmes, as the actor reportedly revealed during a charity Oscars gala in Beverly Hills on Sunday that he’s single and quite possibly ready to mingle.
The 51-year-old Oscar-winner was serving up a performance at the third annual Entertainment Studios party, which benefited Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles, when it’s said that he revealed his relationship status.
“It was very nonchalant,” a source tells Us Weekly. “While he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line ‘I’m single.’”

Now, inquiring minds have set out to solve the curious case of Foxx and Holmes. Are they or aren’t they still a couple?
The Robin Hood actor and Tom Cruise’s ex-wife were spotted together as recently as December, Us reported. They even enjoyed a romantic Miami getaway during which they were photographed kissing on a yacht. The twosome also celebrated Holmes’ 40th birthday at Serendipity 3 in New York City on December 18 with her mom, Kathleen.
“Katie and Jamie looked happy. They both came in the same car together, with her mom,” a source told Us. “Her mom walked out with a cake box at the end. Jamie and Kathleen ordered their frozen hot chocolate, and Katie had a strawberry sundae.”

Foxx and Holmes’ secret romance was first reported back in October 2013. The couple reportedly hooked up a year after she finalized her divorce from Cruise.
“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” a mutual pal told Us of Holmes at the time. “She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”
Meanwhile, the Sleepless star has reportedly been spotted with other women recently, including model Olivia Culpo and actress Cara Santana.
