Tyra Banks just returned to the runway and reminded everyone why she will forever be the ultimate supermodel. On October 15, the OG Angel surprised fans by closing out Victoria’s Secret’s highly anticipated comeback show.
In true Tyra fashion, she was fierce, flawless, and unforgettable. After nearly 20 years from the catwalk, she made it clear: she’s still that girl and never looked better.

Tonight’s show wasn’t just a personal comeback for Tyra. The presentation also marked Victoria’s Secret’s return to the spotlight after taking a break from its iconic runway events in 2019.
Tyra pulled out all of the stops for her main stage moment. She wore an all-black ensemble consisting of a sparkly black body suit and a silver and black corset. On top of her body suit was a dramatic Cape with a long train and oversized silver sequin details.

One of the first models to push traditional standards in the beauty industry, Tyra had her curves on full display. Every step she made was confident, curvy, and sexy.
As expected, the ‘Smize’ Queen’s beauty also commanded the stage. Tyra’s dark, curly tresses were big, bold, and beautiful as they flowed down the runway. Her glam was equally stunning, with heavy blush highlighting her signature cheekbones and silver eyeshadow tying into the sparkling details of her fit.
Talk about a stylish comeback! The America’s Top Model star did not play on the runway.
Tyra’s triumphant close to Victoria’s Secret’s show was not only fashionable but truly fitting.
In 1996, she made her debut as a Victoria’s Secret model, breaking barriers as one of the first Black women to walk for the brand. Soon after, she became one of the original Victoria’s Secret Angels, joining an elite squad of supermodels known by name across the globe. Tyra wasn’t just walking; she was shifting the culture.
Her time with Victoria’s Secret was career-defining, not just for herself, but for everyone watching. Love or hate her, Tyra helped the world see that Black women and women with curves ALWAYS belonged on the world’s biggest stages.
And as she proved tonight, Tyra is still setting the standard.
