So, I did a thing on Saturday….I flew to Miami to experience Miami Art Week/Art Basel. I’m a rookie on the art scene, so I am a sponge processing everything! Miami Art Week comprises 20+ art fairs, 1,200+ exhibitors, and thousands of artists. This special week attracts thousands of art collectors and buyers, VIPs, art lovers and tourists from all around the world. For example, Art Basel, New Art Dealers Alliance, UNTITLED Art Fair are part of the weeklong festivities during Miami Art Week.
As a first-timer, I learned you need to plan to spend at least two full days to experience the fairs and brand events. With only 8 hours to spare, my itinerary and spending had to be precise.
In this post, I share how I planned my trip to Miami and mapped out my itinerary to experience Miami Art Week! I am thankful to use some of the funds I received from a recent donation to help offset costs. I will create another post soon to dive deeper into my Miami Art Week experience.
