San Francisco woman Alison Ettel, better known to the internet as #PermitPatty, lied when she said that she didn’t actually call the police on an 8-year-old girl selling water in San Francisco last week.
Fox’s KTVU obtained the 911 call from the city of San Francisco where she can be heard telling the dispatcher, “I have someone who does not have a vendor permit that’s selling water across from the ballpark.”
Once viral video hit the internet on Saturday of Ettel on the phone while being confronted by the girl’s mother, she told the San Francisco Chronicle that she was “pretending” to be on the phone with the police.
So my little cousin was selling water and didn’t have a permit so this lady decided to call the cops on an 8 year old. #PermitPatty pic.twitter.com/SiL61pnAgl

Ettel said she was disturbed in her home office by the young entrepreneur, Jordan Austin, and her mom. She claims that it had nothing to do with race, but that the mother was too loud.
“They were screaming about what they were selling,” she told HuffPost. “It was literally nonstop. It was every two seconds, ‘Come and buy my water.’ It was continuous and it wasn’t a soft voice, it was screaming.”
She says she has received death threats since the video was posted online and has stepped down as CEO of cannabis company TreatWell Health.
