Today, the New York–headquartered Sean Kelly Gallery announced that Gladys Lin will take on the role of director of Sean Kelly Asia and open a project space in Taipei, Taiwan.

Lin has over a decade of experience in the international contemporary art community, with a pronounced expertise in the Asian market, having curated and managed a number of museum exhibitions in the region.

“I am excited to bring the gallery’s important international program to greater prominence in Asia’s dynamic art scene and at the same time continue to build on the gallery’s history of working with the very best Asian artists in the West,” Lin said in a statement.

Lin will look over the gallery’s artist and client relations and foster new institutional initiatives in an attempt to develop the gallery’s expanding Asian footprint. “We are delighted that Gladys has joined the gallery,” Sean Kelly said in a release. “She is a highly regarded professional whose extensive knowledge of and experience in the contemporary Asian market will be invaluable to the gallery and its clientele.”
