Where’s the meat?

North Bethesda’s, Pike and Rose, that’s where. Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse officially opened its doors June 24 and it’s bringing us all the classic flavors Brazil has to offer.

Fogo de Chao invited the AFRO to the soft opening on June 20 and they did not disappoint. With world class food, drinks and service, Fogo de Chao brought out a colorful array of people from various walks of life and parts of D.M.V. for an evening of Brazilian flavors.

From happy hour, to brunch to dinner, gauchos, or “churrascaria meat servers,” are serving you table side, for their classic all-you can eat lunch and dinner.

This posh location is giving all the vibes with its ‘al fresco patio’ and extended bar with causal community seating. If fine dining is more your taste, this location is great for large parties in its exclusive dining room, complete with a view of the Churrasco grill.

Ribeyes steak, chicken and pork tenderloin are not the only thing that Fogo de Chao is serving up. Their seasonal Market Table and Feijoada Bar offers tastes from around the world. Guests can enjoy everything from fresh salads to imported meats and cheeses. While Fogo de Chao is famously known as one of the best restaurants for carnivores, The Market Table is nearly 100% gluten free and of course no restaurant in the D.M.V. is complete without some seafood. Guests can enjoy specialties like Mango Chilean Sea Bass or Pan Seared Salmon.

Upon arrival, guests are given a passport to take a trip to Brazil and for a comprehensive all-you-can eat culinary trip through the country, in what is called the “Full Churrasco Experience,” guests pay $37.95 for lunch and $53.95 for dinner.  In addition to the full curated experience, guests can purchase a la carte meats and sides for their enjoyment.
