  • Manning analyzes Brees’ successful return from thumb surgery vs. Arizona Cardinals in Week 8
  • Exclusively on ESPN+, available on the ESPN App, ESPN.com and connected TV devices

In the newest episode of the NFL edition of Detail, legendary quarterback Peyton Manning examines the Week 8 return of New Orleans QB Drew Brees, who played his first game since suffering torn ligaments in his thumb during a Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Brees, the NFL’s all-time leader in career passing yards and pass completions, left no doubt he was ready play, throwing for 373 yards and 3 touchdowns in New Orleans’ 31-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday. Manning breaks down the Saints’ offensive strategy and Brees’ own veteran savvy that enabled his strong return to the field.
