- Nearly 80 Hours of Programming Showcasing the Best of Elite Amateur Athletes

ESPNU’s sixth annual presentation of Summer of Next Presented by GEICO begins Saturday, June 30, highlighting the best in high school athletics throughout the remainder of the summer. Summer of Next will feature nearly 80 hours of content, covering five sports and spotlighting the next generation of premier college athletes. The slate of events kicks off with the Under Armour All-America Boys and Girls High School Lacrosse Games (June 30) followed by the 2018 EYBL Finals at Nike Peach Jam (July 15), The 8 Basketball Bracket (July 27-28), Premier Girls Fastpitch (July 27), Nike Basketball Academy (August 12), the American Legion World Series (August 16-21) and concludes with the GEICO ESPN High School Football Kickoff (Aug 24-31).

Under Armour All-America Lacrosse
Saturday, June 30

Girls Game: 5:30 p.m. ET
Boys Game: 8 p.m. ET
The 2018 Under Armour All-America rosters are selected by INSIDE Lacrosse and a selection committee. The All America girls’ roster is available here and the All-America boys’ roster is available here.
ESPN’s Quint Kessenich, Paul Carcaterra and Booker Coorigan will be on the call for the boy’s game and Kessenich, Sheehan Stanwick Burch and Corrigan will be on the call for the girl’s game.
2018 EYBL Finals at Nike Peach Jam
Sunday, July 15 at 2 p.m.

The championship game culminates the twenty-four team tournament, comprised of the top high school basketball players in the nation. Notable alumni include Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Ben Simmons.
The 8 Basketball Bracket as part of the Las Vegas Classic
Friday, July 27 at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Saturday, July 28 at 3:30 p.m.

This AAU tournament, hosted by NBA All-Star Chris Paul, showcases eight elite travel team programs from across the country with each team coached by a current or former NBA player. The semifinals will be televised on Friday and the Championship on Saturday.

Premier Girls Fastpitch 18U National Championship: Friday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m.
Premier Girls Fastpitch High School All-American Game: Friday, July 27, at 10:30 p.m.

In its third year participating in the Summer of Next line-up, Premier Girls Fastpitch showcases top teams and elite high school softball players from across the country.
Nike Basketball Academy
Sunday, August 12 at 2 p.m.
The Nike Basketball Academy is comprised of some of the best in high school basketball and allows for the sport’s brightest players to compete against the best competition while learning form the game’s greatest players.
American Legion World Series
Thursday, August 16 – Tuesday, August 21

The American Legion World Series will showcase the top high school baseball players competing on regional teams in this summer baseball league.
GEICO ESPN High School Football Kickoff

GEICO ESPN High School Football Kickoff is in its ninth year and is comprised of seven games featuring seven 2017 State Champions and 21 players ranked in the ESPN 300. Matchups will be available throughout the weekend on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.
